Works really well. Nice screen with large display makes it easy to ready. Push a button to pop out the probe, fully extend and you are ready to go. There is another button to turn on the backlight for better readability. Glad I purchased.

I use an instant read thermometer daily for anything I cook or bake. I have a great thermometer at my primary home but needed one for my second home. I chose this one because of the ratings and reviews. This thermometer is very lightweight and has a plastic feel to it. It has a magnet for storing on your fridge or other metal surface. That is a very handy feature. The probe is deployed by a button. The probe doesn't fully extend on its own. It extends about half way. The unit must be turned on manually. The display has a light that lasts for about 10 seconds. The thermometer reads a temp quickly. It does hesitate for a brief second before it starts to read. The probe can only be collapsed by pushing the button. That makes it a two handed process. I have things I like about my primary thermometer such as the probe fully extending with a button push but then easily collapsing just by pushing the probe. That is a one handed job that is convenient when I want to quickly put the thermometer in my apron pocket or set it down until I need it. It also is wider and easier to hold. This thermometer works well. It's decent quality but it is lightweight plastic. It doesn't have all the features I'd like to have but it gets the job done. For the price, it's a good deal. If you are more elevated in cooking, baking and meats then you might want a better thermometer with more features.

Perfect for all things food!!! I keep it on. My refrigerator , the magnet is a plus. It came with a battery, Celsius or fahrenheight options, a small list of temps for most common foods right on back of small device. Price is phenomenal. I dont know why I never had this gadget years ago. Two thumbs up on this purchase.

I bought this thermometer in Dec 2018 and used it so often until my toddler broke it all apart a few weeks ago. I think it would have kept going if not for that! The quality is amazing, especially for the price. I’m re-buying it because it’s that good. We used it for candy, marshmallows, meat, bread, all kinds of things. Love the instant read and the magnet makes it great to keep on the fridge for easy access or it easily fits in the kitchen drawer without taking up space. Batteries lasted a long time and were easy to change. I even got it wet a few times but it was totally fine. Highly recommend!

I've been having trouble with my oven temperature so this ThermoPro Digital thermometer helps me check my bread temperature so I am not over baking my bread or under baking it. It's of good quality. Easy to read and see temperature. I use the Fahrenheit setting with success. Easy to store but I wish it had a case to store it in.

The pen is very accurate, My cooking has dramatically improved now that I can measure precise temperatures. However, what will keep me buying from this brand is their after sales service. The first one failed a few days after it came; It was replaced. No questions asked. About a year later, the second one began to show erratic temperatures. They only asked for a photo and replaced it again. I have signed up for the three-year warranty also. Look at it this way. It's more expensive, but the cheap one will fail a few months later. This one will last you years. If it fails during the warranty period they will replace it. Go for it.

I have been using this meat thermometer for a year now and it works great! It’s accurate, easy to use and comes with a strong magnet on the back so you can keep it on the fridge. Also comes with a meat temperature chart for safe cooking guidelines.
