I have been trying for about four years now to find a shampoo that is mild and does not irritate my scalp. Do you know how hard it is to find that? I thought I had one, purchased elsewhere, but it took nearly a month to ship. By then I had given up and bought this one. That other slow-shipping one? I ditched it somewhere, because I don't want to reward slow shipping.THIS SHAMPOO IS AWESOME!I don't care about the scent. I don't care about the looks. I don't care whether it colors my hair at all. I only care how it makes my scalp feel. And after several years, I do now think I am "there" with this product.I wish this company had a corresponding conditioner bar. I ended up buying a similar conditioner, but I think it would be better to have a pair.Anyway, love this bar and all it does!

I love this shampoo bar - the lather is insane, so rich and rinses clean. My hair feels great and I no longer need conditioner.

June 25 - I’ll write a “user” review after I’ve had a few days to try this product. For now, this is what it looked like upon arrival. I’m not sure what I expected, but imagined the bar would have been bigger. I hope it doesn’t erode away too quickly.July 6 - Not impressed. It’s a lathery soap. The end. It does not have a noticeable pleasant aroma, and body odors arise quicker than my brand named soap. (Yikes!) Also the soap puck (because it looks like a hockey puck) broke into pieces suddenly after about 10 days use. Attaching updated pictures of the broken soap and the left and right view of my ever present gray hair. *NOTE: I got a haircut 5 days in and hoped that would expedite the process for changing the color. See for yourself the results. I will continue to use until the last fragments of soap are gone and then write one final review.July 25 - When the puck got this small I wasn’t sure how long it would last so I took a picture. Then I showered and it obliterated, so good timing I guess. I found no difference in the color or texture of my hair over the last 5+ weeks use. Though the soap lathers well, - in my opinion - it does not provide a greater benefit than any other soap product, and it is certainly not worth the price.

It doesn’t seem different than any standard bar that you use for your head. The main reason I got it was I figured if it darkened and helped over all health for my scalp that’s a win.. been using it for weeks haven’t noticed any darkening effect so maybe I just got a bad bar… shrug.. will try a different brand next time.

I really like the soap/shampoo.The round bar is convenient, but it's a bit too thin. At the price, it should last a good deal longer.

This is the best hard bar. It takes just a little bit to get a huge amount of lather and it leaves my gray hair so soft and shiny. It leave my hair so clean and is easy to use. This hard shampoo bar performs so well that I know I will definitely buy this set again. I get so much lather with each use that I feel this is an excellent value.

It only takes a small amount of rubbing into the hair to make a nice lather. It leaves my hair soft and manageable. I'm hoping it will give me a healthier scalp and less hair loss.

The idea of this shampoo in a bar is brilliant; certainly great for travel.Here are the cons:The size is rather small for the price.I am really off-put by the scent- it smells rather like cheap perfume that I cant stand, it would be much more acceptable to me if it was unscented.I was disappointed in that white and black flecking supposedly designed for gray hair would be a great color enhancer = did absolutely nothing;The soap itself cleans well and doesn’t leave the hair dry or over oily; however I did notice that I have to wash my hair more often when I use this shampoo, perhaps it does have something that increases oil production in the sebaceous glands or is itself somewhat oily.It also claims that it encourages hair regrow the- I found ZERO benefit in this claim..It claims it is a Volumizing shampoo- made my hair rather limp.Over all, I think this is an expensive bar shampoo that claims a lot of benefits it doesn’t deliver. Too bad because I really wanted to like it.
