An engaging book full of business insights of amazon
An engaging book full of business insights. The book covers details of AWS, Amazon Prime, Alexa, Blue Origin, amazon go, WP, Aamazon China and amazon India (including Cloudtail) and personal life of Bezos. This book is a treasure to anyone looking for business insights of amazon and linked businesses, personal or official, be it retail, press, cloud prowess, innovation ideas or space. The words most stayed with me from this book is observation from Bezos - it is going to be an Indian century.

Inside the mind of Bezos
Brad Stone has written a well researched story of Amazon, following up on Everything Store. Most interesting is how Amazon Echo came to be. Great insights into mind of Bezos with detailed interviews with people who left the company. Also great lessons in innovation and management. Book that can be caste in Stone!

Amazon Unbound - Literally.
The media could not be loaded. Brad Stone is really good at covering Amazon. This book continues the thread of his last book "The Everything Store " and in my opinion does a better job at profiling the company and Jeff's rise.If you want to know about the back story of Amazon's foray into Alexa, Indian conquest, Amazon Logistics Grocery, Prime video/Studio, Jeff's acquisition of The Washington Post and juicy gossips of his affair with Lauren Sanchez, then this is the book to read. You can find me on insta- champreads.

Great Sequel to The Everything Store
Broken down nicely into chapters that dicuss each new aspect of the Amazon business - Alexa, Amazon prime, Regulatory hurdles, bezo's personal life, AWS, Kindle, and disasters like Fire Phone!

The media could not be loaded. Good print and quality paper used, the words are big enough too. Just one problem was that the all corners of the cover page and back page had a slight fold.

Gripping and Thrilling Tales of Bezos and S-Team
The book gives you good details of the key mega project and initiatives on which Bezos and team worked upon. The development stories of their product development like of Alexa, Go Store and, AWS to name a few. Very interesting facts and how the team had taken head on competitors is also well written. For the ones whose life has changed with Amazon's product line in any which ways with enthusiasm should read this.A must read i would say.

As good as the first one, hard to do!
Loved reading this look behind the recent curtain at AMZN. As an avid tech-watcher (and industry worker) Amazon might be the most interesting company of our times given its insane breadth of businesses (AWS to fashion!). Through interviews and other reporting, Brad delivers a very even-handed and compelling behind-the-scenes tour. Highly recommended for anyone who wants more details on why AMZN is the way it is.

The Amazon growth story
I had read The Everything Store by the same author Brad Stone few years ago which spoke about the rise and early days of Amazon. In this book the author starts with Alexa and ends with Jeff Bezos handing over the reins of the company to Jassy while remaining as Chairman. It’s a good read!

Great book! Fascinating portrait of Bezos and sequel to The Everything Store!
Amazon Unbound is a great book and an excellent follow-up to The Everything Store, and you don't need to be an Amazon buff to enjoy it. The book is a fascinating portrait of Bezos as he's navigated his transition from someone famous in the tech world to someone who's famous, period. The reason Bezos was interesting in this book to me is not because he's now the world's wealthiest person - what kept me turning the page were: Stone's very natural style of writing - I found myself reading multiple chapters at a time without really realizing it, as the story flows so easily from one topic to the next -- that's not easy to do; the fact that every page deepened my understanding of Bezos and what makes him tick as a kind of psychological study, even though Bezos did not actually sit for an interview for the book (which I think actually works to the book's advantage, because you wind up learning about him a better way, which is through his interactions -- good and bad -- with people in his orbit); and because Stone has done the hard work of finding the right people to tell this story and you can tell that he knows the Amazon story so deeply that you are getting the information from a place of real authority. The book works brilliantly on many levels and it's the definition of balanced journalism -- you get a sense of what's made Amazon one of the most successful technology companies the world has ever seen, and how hard all of that has been to accomplish, while at the same time getting an unvarnished inside look at how the company has responded as it's drawn the ire of Congress and labor groups and many of its own seller partners.Bezos is presented as a complicated, brilliant, flawed person, and it feels like an authentic, well-rounded presentation of who he actually is and what the universal lessons are that can be learned from his story -- which is a high compliment and a hard thing to pull off while constructing an entertaining read.Highly recommended!
