I own a S&W M&P 2.0 9mm 4.25" and it isn't a snug fit. My gun rattles around while your walking, luckily I'm only using this for my range holster. So it's fine for me but if your looking for something snug and rattle free and you have s fullsize m&p I would suggest going elsewhere. It does whoever hold my firearm securely until I push the button on the side but I would suggest going with a holster that is made to fit your gun not 5 other models including your gun. It's like playing the lottery hoping your model fits the way you want. I honestly don't mind how loose it is because I'm only carrying it around my backyard range. Would have gave 5 stars if it had a better fit for my firearm.

Really love the thumb lock release feature. Well worth the price. I have it for a police version of the S&W MP40 standard barrel length. Great locking features and holds well on a leather belt or utility belt as well. I use it mostly for range shooting and everyday carry.

A very large and bulky (thick) synthetic holster. It does fit my M&P 2.0 Compact. It is a useful holster. But never intended to be used for concealed carry. Only recommended if the intended use is completely open carry. Nice that it can adjust the angle that the holster sits on the belt. I would not purchase again.
