Follow the directions & stick with it!
So for the first week, I was not following the full directions to not rinse, brush, swish around in your mouth for a few minutes and spit. Then, not rinse out or immediately eat or drink anything. I saw some improvement, but it was minor. After the first week or so, I was doing the full routine--Mouth wash, spit, brush teeth 2 minutes gently, swish 5-10 (min since I am healing a lot of erosion), spit, no eating/drinking right after. Now, I try to wait 30 min to an hour afterwards, when possible. I am about 38 days in today. At 2 weeks, I could tell my teeth were definitely less sensitive and whiter. The whitening part is really a cherry on top, for me. I got the toothpaste for the enamel restoration from acid erosion (GERD) and to lessen the sensitivity when eating hot, cold or super sugary foods (cookies, ice cream, cake etc). I am pleased to report I am also now visually seeing the glossiness and smoothness on my front teeth most strikingly, but even on all my teeth! Even the backs, the inside my mouth close to the tongue, are smoother to the feel and stains even the dentist struggled to remove. My dentist advised that food particles get stuck inside the indents from erosion so it is incredibly difficult to clean. Those stains are coming off, as the teeth remineralize! This Pearlie toothpaste is amazing--Studies I read advise you should use for 3-4 months to see improvement. While perhaps I had fast results because, I had a lot of damage & swished for 5 to 10 min, I am impressed. I will continue to use and restore my enamel! Ordering more! I hope to need less swish time, as my teeth heal and am confident that in time, my teeth will show as healed in a future dentist X-ray check up.

Happy with my purchase and will be getting again, worth the money and research.
To preface, I researched active remineralizing toothpaste (ART) and saw the data on hydroxyapatite shows no statistically significant difference between fluoridated toothpaste in terms of benefit to the strength or health of teeth. They are the same no better or worse at dental outcomes and preventing dental caries. I discussed this with my dentist who had limited information, as the US does not utilize (ART). The main difference is fluoridated toothpaste remineralizes passively meaning it needs acid environments in the mouth caused by drinks and food to be most beneficial, while Hydroxyappetite is (active) in that it is always active in remineralizing without need for an acidic catalyst/environment. So in short fluoridated toothpaste is better for people who are exposed to acidic drink/foods and sugary drinks which is quite common here in the U.S. I avoid all soda and most acidic beverages so my reasoning is that an active remineralizing toothpaste would be of more benefit to me and my lifestyle. I have been using this toothpaste for the last 3 months. I have to say I have seen a marked improvement in the color of my teeth, decreased dry mouth and potentially bad breath associated with constant dry mouth. My teeth also seem to have extra layer of protection, not sure how to describe it was I am not a dentist but my teeth seem smoother than normal. This product also has a taste that takes a few days to get used too, but taste fine with respect to other toothpastes I have tried in the past. I will be buying ART in the future, although I may have to look for a way to source it a little bit cheaper as it is on the expensive side.

Helps with sensitivity and brightening
I’d really give this a 3.5, but need to be honest in saying that I don’t always follow the directions precisely so I am giving it the benefit of the doubt with four stars. That said, I have been using this toothpaste for over six months now. I notice my teeth are a little brighter than they were. I wouldn’t say white though. I have also noticed my teeth are a little less sensitive than they were before. I would say it works just as well as sensodyne in that regard. I use this toothpaste everyday, and since using it I noticed more plaque build up and a not so clean feeling toward end of day if I don’t brush my teeth after lunch. I’ve never experienced this with other mainstream toothpaste. At the same time, I ran out of my Pearlie toothpaste and used a tube of Crest toothpaste. I was quickly reminded how that toothpaste would peel layers of skin in my mouth. So gross. I don’t know what the deal is with that, but crest would leave a gross film in my mouth. I can say, that I noticed my mouth was cleaner at the end of the day and I had less plaque build up using crest. Although I prefer the milder taste and effect of Pearlie toothpaste. Maybe if I use it more according to the directions, I will have better results. The directions say to brush as normal, and then after brushing and rinsing, to add a pea size amount of the toothpaste back into the mouth and coat teeth with it. And to do this routine 2-3 times a day. Maybe that’s how others are experiencing the more dramatic results. I just don’t always have the time for that. I can’t say that the transparency in my teeth isnt any more opaque using this toothpaste. Again, mainly just using in the morning and when I remember at night. And not adding the extra coat after rinsing. On the plus side, even not following the directions to a T, it has helped brighten my teeth and alleviate sensitivity to cold foods. I stopped eating sugar the same time I started using this toothpaste so can speak to that sensitivity. All in all, I’m back to purchase more, as I prefer it over sensodyne toothpaste.

Helps turn down sensitivity
Ive been wanting to try this toothpaste for a while now. I jumped on the "flouride-free bandwagon" some years ago and have been staying mostly with charcoal toothpastes or the baking soda toothpaste by arm&hammer, but my teeth on the left side decided to become super sensitive last week. I had trouble eating and drinking everything (hot or cold) and had to try to avoid getting anthing on that side where my teeth were so sensitive. I was even having issues with drinking water, which made it hard to stay hydrated. Its a little difficult to find a sensitive toothpaste that flouride free in stores and I remembered that I found the ART toothpaste a while back and had it in one of my lists on here, so I ordered it. I have Prime, so it was delivered within a day of ordering it. Its been so good. It helped reduce my sensitivity after just a couple uses and the sensitivity is currently gone. It seems to do a good job cleaning too. I drink coffee and tea, so I dont expect my teeth to be perfect. I would totally buy this stuff again.

Won’t buy again
Meh, for the price I expected more from the product. I used two tubes with no noticeable difference or effect. The taste was fine, fresh. I switched back to my old toothpaste, which leaves my teeth feeling just as clean and fresh for less.

Great toothpaste
Love the flavor! Love the feel for a flouride free toothpaste. Good value, you going to pay a little more but it's worth it. Size is the same as normal toothpaste amount. Gives you clean teeth but doesn't help massively with breath. Don't give up your mouth wash.

Art toothpaste
Good toothpaste. Did the job and kept my teeth clean and white. But wasn’t much different from other toothpaste brands. I liked it though.
