For my son, he loves it. I think all the 'cool' snowboarders have this one, so fashionable (lol), and extra safety on the hills! Not sure if you can buy it elsewhere for a better price, but I think it's still competitively priced and is a quality helmet....'you get what you pay for' :) Happy with the purchase
