Best mechanic boots very comfy and light. I wish it was good year welt. Had mine for almost 2 years and I had to retire them because the soles wear down. (I walk 10 miles on uneven rocky ground for work.)They are really good. The uppers are fine. Now I just use them as regular boots

these boots are excellent ! i looked at the size fit chart and ordered half size bigger than usual ( 10.5 US instead of 10 US ) and they fit perfect. smooth leather surface nice heavy sole and solid straps. feel very solid and comfortable like i could walk all day. they have removable soft inner sole which can be replaced. the best part is for how amazing this boot is, it is way cheaper than competition and made in australia. get these boots ! update: 5 years later (yes five years) they are still awesome. still look good and feel amazing. i use finn comfort footbeds for ultimate walking enjoyment. these are so good i am buying another pair! keep up the great work, redback!

These are perfect for me. The fit exactly right out of the box and required very little break in. A bit slippery on icy surfaces though which is disappointing. Lets see the how these soles hold up compared to the ol Blunnies, which failed miserably and prematurely.

Great pair of boots. I am a master technician for KIA. I use these in the field every single day. This is my second pair. The first pair I had lasted 5-6 years before the sole separated from the upper part of the boat. I would highly recommend redbacks and I stand behind them. As for size, I would recommend going a half size smaller then your true size. They will feel a little tight for a few days but the leather stretches perfectly to be comfortable.
