GURPS Conan

Is a good option to those that do not have theirs copies anymore or that have missed the opportunity to buy those great books when they were on the market. Great quality and full of nostalgia. Unfortunately - or not? - the books are as humble in design and art as they were. These on demand print are not a updated version of sorts.

This is an old Gurps supplement, from the end of the 80s.As a seasoned rolelayer and Conan fan, I can't but recommend this old manual to all those that share my passions.As any GURPS manual the details are extended and complete, and all things from the setting are well accurate, also due to L.Srague de Camp cooperation.For the setting, everything is based on original RE Howard writings (and of those that continued his stories in the 50s and 60s); detailed references to each REH story is provided, and all characters referenced in narrative are present. The best from the Conan setting for me. Some references to other materials (comics and films, of course, those available in the 80s) is also here.A great manual.

I had the original GURPS Conan in the 90s, and it was so incredibly thorough and detailed in it's info and portrayal of the Hyborian Age.

Good background book for roleplaying games set in the world of Conan. We don't play GURPS so the rules based stuff won't be used. The other information is useful.
