It almost covered by the fundamental concepts

I wouldn't say it is a must read book for Economics Optional but it is one of the best books for acing concepts of microeconomics at an advanced level. It is not only useful for UPSC preparation but one can also use it for the preparation of other competitive exams as well as for graduation and post graduation..... Most of the topics are beautifully explained but you can't rely completely on this book only... Those who are not from economic background they can easily understand the concepts because of its descriptive nature..... You need to be selective while reading this book and try to make compendious and concise notes...... Remember, don't be afraid of its length..... Once you start reading it you will definitely feel boredom because of its repetitive nature but this will, indeed, help you in developing better understanding of the concept.........

This is a Low priced Students' Paperback Edition meaning the quality of the pages pages are 'okayish' only. And the visuals of the writings and graphs are in black.(not colourful). Go For Original edition if you want quality regarding pages and cover of the book. Otherwise the contents are same as the original edition. The only difference between the two is about the page quality and colourful depiction of the contents. Otherwise, everything is same.

No issues with printing or page quality. As per it's a black and white copy for students but right edition and will not be disappointed.

It is really a bulky book,i bought this for my Economics Optional preaparation because most of the toppers advice to study this book selectively for Advance micro economics.

I received this book today, one immediate point to notice was that some pages were very lightly printed making it hard to read. Other than that no issues were found.
