This book should be read by every 20-something who needs a therapeutic guidance.
Zero Limits: Things Every 20-Something Should Know by Aruna Sankaranarayanan is a speculation on real life circumstances of people entering and leaving their 20's as the author interviews them and gives a filtered advice on what to expect and what we as adults could change. The author interviewed Indians of different age groups and presented it as a case study for the readers to relate, connect and learn from their experiences and discover their selves as well as understand not just ourselves but our peers, parents and colleagues- the relationships that we will form eventually as we age.18+ is considered a transition from children to adults as we enter college and decide what we want to do with our life. Once we finish college, we enter into the stage we hate the most- adulting. A term that our generation has to deal with because some of us do not want to engage with it or rather are not able to. When we are in late twenties, we panic and realise what all we still haven't done or achieved. Here, this book acts as your wingperson to teach you how to nurture yourself, how to become your own parent and mould accordingly.I'll talk about the chronology of chapters chosen by the author: with a total of 12 chapters that have been segregated from the age of 18 till we become a 30-something, they teach you what problems you can face at every age. For example, the first chapter is called 'College: Choosing a Stream and Broadening Your Horizons'. Gradually, there's a chapter called 'Parents to Peers: Navigating Relationships Smoothly' and 'Making It Last: Manoeuvring Marriage Deftly'. The book ends with s chapter called 'Breaking Out of Moulds: Charting a Path That's Right for You'. These chapters are arranged agewise as a lesson for anyone having mid-twenties crisis (like me) or entering or leaving 20's.I learned a lot from the book even though I do not like reading self-help books; it might be because this book is age-specific and the author somehow understands us. I'll recommend this book to every 20-something who needs a therapeutic guidance.Thank you to the author for the review copy.

Helpful for the young generation for sure!
At my age, when I am quite satisfied with the progress I have made so far in terms of professional and personal success, I still cannot help but think of the disadvantages I faced owing to the unawareness and lack of global connectivity when I was younger. With the internet now being at our beck and call, making decisions has become easier. Zero Limits offers a much-needed scaffold that acts as a guide to utilizing the early years of youth and making a smooth transition into adulthood by means of the right decisions, the right mindset and the right approaches to problems.Zero Limits encourages the readers to be limitless by highlighting the importance of learning at every stage of life. Dividing the chapters according to the chronological phases in one’s life, the author deftly weaves the lessons with the case studies. Using anecdotes from young Indians and their life, this book provides relatability and authenticity. Unlike several other self-help books, this book doesn’t rely on the success stories of celebrities. Instead, it holds the narrative together by means of stories that are yours and mine, the stories that might have been experienced by us all. Right from choosing the right career option to mentally preparing oneself for fighting the unprecedented roadblocks that life might throw at us, this book utilizes a very practical approach.Zero Limits is worth everyone’s time because, in reality, no one talks or discusses these issues. The inherent belief that a child can learn the ropes when he/she has to cross the bridge is not right because the world is a terrible place now. It is always better to be prepared than be in a quandary when faced with challenges. Overall, Zero Limits is a practical guide to living your life to the fullest and ensuring that you are better prepared (not necessarily with solutions) for all adversities.

It's a book for the millenials
This book is really informative as it touches all the aspects of a person in the age of 18-35. The first 10 chapters of this book are just amazing but i didn't like the last two chapters. If the last two chapters have been better I would have given it a 5 star. But would still recommend young generation to read it.
