This paper is consistently good for firing glass and is good at high temperatures firing porcelain work as well. It leaves a fine powder residue easily vaccumed up and the backs of pieces are consistently smooth and unmarred. Bullseye also makes sure you can tell which side is "up" by marking the back with their trademark logo. Much easier than guessing which side is tbe front. It can be cut to fit small pieces and just fitted to each piece unless you have a large number of pieces to be fired at once and fitted on a sheet. The results are always consistent with no paper cling. Pieces slide off smoothly, no sticking. Great stuff for learrners and so much easier than preqprepping the kiln plates every time you fire. I still keep my kiln plates "washed" with kiln wash for glass, in case their is an accidental over melt, but kiln paper saves hours of hard work and gives a far better and consistent back finish.
