Overall this is a must have for anyone doing modelling etc. I only scored it 4 for stability due to it toppling over a couple of times, there is however an M5 thread in the base so it can be screwed down. The magnifying glass and light are ok, I tend to use a dedicated pair of glasses. The arms are great for holding either multiple small objects or a larger one and the fan is great when soldering

Very good product it helps when using solder and working on pcb board. I didn't test yet.the fan has noting to grab on so 1 star offi will try to attach screw so will be grabbing point.overall am satisfied. I should have bought it long time ago. Make my job a lot easier

Very good but for obvious reasons (shipping from China) seems quite light.I added chunks of roofing lead to the base and it's now perfect.

Always wanted a 3rd hand or 10. Finally brought this being somewhat sceptical with other reviews of the product.So out of the box the rubberised feet do not fit the metal base plate and if you lift off the surface they all fall out. From memory I think the threads into the base plate for the arms do not also fit very well.The magnifier/light again terrible fitment.Initially quite disappointed but with the only alternative I had considered being double the price I gave it some time. I had rolls of PTFE tape (plumbers tape only a few pence per roll) in my box so I decided to use this on all the threads and even the base feet. Fiddly and shouldn't be needed on a new product but once you've done it it's a great product.The wire for the light was always in the way so I have cable tied this down the arm it is fitted on which keeps the wires away from rogue iron tips.I've attached pics to show as best as I can. First job pictured to solder XLR Jack's on to a patch panel. Panel is not light by any stretch and if you position the arms correctly it holds perfectly.Used yesterday again for an RC motor which it held no problem either. The beauty is if the project is heavy add more arms to hold it. There's plenty there.Iron also brought from amazon 853D and the USB output is perfect for powering the LED light/magnifier.Overall very pleased with the product.

A useful tool though can be a little unstable but not an issue if set up corectly

I bought this to do soldering with and on the surface it looks like a great product, but at a closer look the quality is lacking, for example the the weld or joint for the magnifying glass was very bad and mine has fallen off after very little use. The fan it comes with is literally just a fan on it's own and the only way to attach it is with one of the crocodile clips, meaning you have a very loose way of attaching it and if you move the fan, it is likely to fall off. The base is pretty good and heavy so it can be stable. when you're not using this it is a bit of a nightmare as it is very hard to store.

It might not be the best quality, the fan for example did not come with a holder as in the picture so it is a bit awkward to use but overall I love it. Super useful, easy to setup and everything works well!
