Relax. Osram = Sylvania. The bulb is fine
I ordered a Sylvania bulb and what I got was Osram. I was about to write a 1 star review complaining I did not get what I ordered, but right before I did I decided to search Osram online.It turns out Osram bought Sylvania years ago.The bulb was a perfect fit and works as good as the one it replaced. I think it would've been better to say Osram/Sylvania to avoid unnecessary second guessing whether it's legit or not, but still gets 5 stars.

Bulb delivered not branded by Sylvania
I ordered from this supplier because it indicated it was made by Sylvania. However, what came was made by a Mexico company called OSRAM. The bulbs were purchases for replacements so have not tried them, but they appear to be well made, and it is possible this is the original manufacturer for Sylvania but don't know for sure.

Just what I needed!
I have an old slide carousel projector that needed a new bulb. This was an easy find and a quick delivery! Now I can view slides from the 40’s and 50’s and go down memory lane!😀

Looks like the correct one for my projector
Looks like the correct one for my projector, however it may be a long time before I'll install it to see if it works. I'd just put a bulb in that I had on hand to replace one that burned out and I wanted another one on hand. Cost was very reasonable.

Perfect fit for Kodak carousel projector
Old bulb died while reviewing slides for digital conversion. With 1000 slides to go pulled the trigger on this bulb which fit perfectly unlike the spare my dad had purchased years earlier that did not.
