The Menorah True Black Spiral Sketchbook is excellent for black paper artwork. The 250 GSM sheets are thick and smooth, giving a rich, deep black background where white pens, metallics, and acrylic markers really shine. The spiral binding makes it easy to turn pages and work flat, which is very convenient. Paper quality is strong — no bleed-through and only minor warping with heavy wet media. I purchased this sketchbook with the intention of using it for both dry media (pencils, ink, fineliners) and light wet media (watercolour washes, gouache, acrylic markers). Overall it has performed very well
