I purchased this unit strictly based upon its low cost. I bought this for a 2012 Nissan Frontier. It was a direct replacement and was easy to install due to the location of sensor. I bought this to see if it might have an impact on another issue I was having with my truck. At no time had I actually received any error codes or had any performance issues out of the original OEM Mass Air Flow sensor. I had removed the original MAF sensor a couple of months ago and after reinstalling it, I started having another issue with my truck. There was nothing about the issue that made sense that the MAF was the problem but after chasing other potential causes, I decided to change the MAF as kind of a stab in the dark. I bought this thinking that if I spend approximately $20, no big loss if it doesn't fix the other issue. When this MAF arrived, I installed it and drove the truck for 5 days. On the 5th day and after less than 200 miles, the truck started hesitating, running rough, and not wanting to get up to highway speeds. No lights or indicators came on but I plugged in my scanner and it read a code indicating the MAF was not working. I had keep the original MAF so I put it back in, cleared the code, and all is well. If you know you need this Nissan/Infiniti MAF for your vehicle, spend more money and get a better quality sensor.
