finally fixed my internet problem
kept dropping wifi to all my smart plugs and internet connections, this looks like it fixed that

May have improved streaming far from router
Bought this extender because I live in a poured concrete building and my router is far from my bedroom. Installed a month ago and have not had any issues with my wifi devices (iphone, kindles, Surface tablet, etc.) even during 5pm slow period in my area. Have not installed new wifi tv though I have streamed video to other devices in bedroom. Will amend review if anything changes.

Don’t waste your money!
Does not work! Install via wps did not work. Install using browser did not work. Unfortunately past the return date. Save your money and reduce your level of frustration. Don’t buy this extender.

Just ok.
I have two separate ISPs, one has a Netgear Nighthawk, which connected flawlessly with the WPS buttons. The other network (which is what I need this for) is a CenturyLink Technicolor modem/router combo. It was a huge pain to get this connected. WPS was no help, adding the MAC/pin was no help, the extender would never accept my network password, either. I ended up turning off MAC authentication, removing security to create an open/unsecured network, and it finally connected. From there, I had to add WPA2-AES only back to the modem/router, and then was able to login to the extender snd match the passwords. After all that, it does pick up the weak modem signal pretty well, but also does not broadcast it very well either. It will work for what I need right now (feeding an outside wireless camera), but it's definitely not an amazing product.

Not reliable
Absolute garbage extender. Installed extender in hallway to help boost signal to rear of house . Randomly drops signal sometimes up to 5 times in an hour. Frustration level finally made me unplug it and toss in my e waste box.
