This worked like a charm! If you can use a screwdriver, you can quickly replace/repair your Hitachi leaf blower and have it running like new again. Just follow the following 5 steps: 1) Remove the two screws holding it to the carburetor 2) Disconnect the 2 fuel lines 3) Replace the old part with this 4) Reattach fuel lines 5) Reattach part to carburetor with same 2 screws Then voila! Starts right up and you can take pride in knowing your repaired your leaf blower in under 20 minutes.

The Hitachi 6696549 T/CG24EASPSL Air Cleaner Assembly fits the Hitachi RB24EAP Leaf Blower perfectly. The replacement is rather simple, just two screws to remove the assembly and two fuel lines need disconnected / reconnected. My reason for the replacement was a ruptured primer bulb (seven years old) and a failed foam air filter. The entire assembly is less expensive than the primer bulb and air filter plus you also get a band new choke assembly.

I have replaced the priming bulb once already but it didn't last. I was due for a new air filter as well so I purchased this assembly which included both. The factory bulb is sturdier than the aftermarket and this unit just bolts on perfectly. I used forceps to remove and install the fuel lines. Easy repair and my blower starts right up and runs like new. Cheaper than the individual parts purchased separately.

The cap on the air cleaner went missing and I ordered an entire replacement unit from Amazon. The factory part works and I'm very happy with it. It's cheap enough that it could be replaced when the unit needs a tune up (since it has a fuel bulb built in). I was disappointed with how the price fluctuated while it was in my cart and I had to play wack a mole with the buy button, to ensure I bought it at a reasonable price.

This is a genuine Walbro part and an exact fit. The locking tab on my air cleaner had broken and was being held closed using wire. When the primer bulb needed replacement I chose this product to fix both problems at the same time. A perfect solution for me.

I purchased my blower from a pawn shop for $20 because it was missing this piece. With it becoming harder to find reputable small engine mechanics with a good turn around time, I decided to DIY this. This item was delivered at 11:15. By 11:30 I’m finished installing and writing this review. It was a breeze to install as it’s only 2 screws and like one other reviewer said it does come with the filter. Be careful with the hoses and gasket if you plan to reuse. (I was careful) Also since it comes with a fuel bubble, ensure you pop the old one out of the other device if it’s still good. Now I’m on my way back to that same Pawn Shop to purchase another blower for $19 with a bad bubble and some other pieces that I will be ordering.

I have a Tanaka leaf blower. I believe this is the industrial version of the Hitachi one. I was on the front line all day blowing leaves all over the property, when I realized that the lid to my air cleaner and the air filter element were gone....I was so sad, cuz i love my Tanaka and she always starts on the first pull...As a natural reaction I head over to the Hitachi/Tanaka people and start looking around, and they want twice what I paid for this get up for just the lid and little foam element. I looked all over the place and then, Duh, I said, let me look on Amazon. I found this entire air cleaner assembly complete with primer bulb and air filter. Everything you need. I read all these reviews elsewhere about how you need the bulb eventhough you don't think you do. So I bought it. It came quickly. Without watching any Youtube videos or anything, it was literally 2 screws. Oh yeah, I had to get out some needle nosed pliers to gently persuade the fuel lines off. All in all, off and back on in less than 5 minutes, no exaggerating at all. Primed her up and turned her on. 1st pull every time. I went ahead and ordered a 2nd one at this price, just to be ready for the next front yard casualty. P.S. The lid has a much more positive lock upon shutting than the original equipment, so I may never need the 2nd one!

Direct replacement for my tanika weed trimmer.

This part fit my leaf blower perfectly. I only wish I had ordered a new set of fuel lines with it, mine were pretty much finished, but they did still work. Do yourself a favour and get them along with this part!
