I am sorry that this has happened! I have suffered from migraines since I was little. I can empathize with your symptoms. I have been using this EO (Inner Calm) for about 10 years. When Wild Essentials changed things up about 2 years ago, from the previous name, logo, etc., I was concerned. I have not had the same experience - I am super-sensitive to just about everything & did not detect any changes. I would reach out to the company directly on their direct website & ask for their staff for answers - maybe even 3rd party gas chromatograph testing for purity & any adulterations. Maybe reach out to Dr. Pappas at EO University/Derosiers Intl, as he is an aromatherapy chemist. If you have some of the former ME Essentials left, you may be able to send that & the new bottle off to him. He has published testing of all brands on his above EOU site & social media pages for purity, adulterations, ingredients, etc. Good luck!

Q: Does this need to be mixed with a carrier oil before applying? If so, what ratio would you use?

I don't use a carrier oil with this. Just a few drops massaged in my temples and forehead helps to alleviate my pain.
