I cut the beams into quarters for my small guy & he is still satisfied with his chew time. Truth be told, they have tried swallowing larger pieces, but they easily "cough it up" and finish chewing.

Q: How long do these last in comparison to bully sticks?

My Aussies finish their beams within minutes of getting them. These are not "long lasting" treats/chewing options. For "chewing enjoyment", stick with the bully sticks.
