Still working after 3 years
Simple, effective design. I used it to add an extension to a washing machine pipe 3 years go. The machine is run easily twice a day and the joint hasn't leaked.

Does the job
This would be simple if you were connecting the rubber ends of two hoses but as I was using it to connect two ends of the ribbed pipe where I had chopped out a section with a hole in it, I had to wind a thick layer of ptfe over both ends of it snd force it into the pipes before tightening the jubilee clips in order to create a waterproof seal. Clips and connector decent quality and now I have no leaks. A good buy

Did the job
Damaged dishwasher hose, put a clean cut on both ends and used the connector to join both ends. Worked well and saved on getting someone to come out for what cost me a few quid.
