Sorry guys - it looked great and indeed it will be well used for flowers….!First use - noxious fumes from the black paint and within 10 mins of starting fire #1 - the bottom of the pit started to “bow”. Fire immediately put out.It will look good with flowers but sadly we won’t be using it as a fire pit.Not a great purchase I’m sad to say.

Easy to set up, good trying metal but only downside is that after one rainfall I can already see rust, so maybe more suited for an enclosed area

Great look and held quite a lot of wood ,but make sure you can either put away or make sure it is covered when not in use .I have used once and there is signs of rust already

This fire pit came well packaged and early. It was reasonably easy to put together and once assembled is a sturdy and good looking piece of garden furniture. We have not used it yet but I am hopeful that it is far enough off the ground, to allow use on our timber decking

We have resisted purchasing a fire pit as we live in a thatched cottage, but when this opportunity arose to obtain this item and it coincided with a move to a house with a tile roof, I decided to take if as part of the Amazon Vine programme.It was easy to assemble with fixing undertaken using the included hex key. One assembled the unit provided a sturdy platform upon which to create a fire. We have used both kindling and dry logs in the fire, starting the fire by placing a thin log on the base, a fire lighter then kindling. Allow the fire to develop then add logs.In terms of heat output, it isn’t huge as the heat is not directly connected, however, it does provide background heat and is a very nice feature in the garden.Well constructed and hopefully it should last. 5 stars

I suppose you get what you pay for. These are mostly around the £80 mark but found this one for £50 I thought bargain so ordered. Story short sent back for refund. Ordered £80 one.
