Good little spot welder
Got it. Charged it overnight. Did my first weld first thing in the morning. Set it at 2 and discovered it needed to be higher. Ended up at 4 and it did awesome. Took some batteries I had out of an dewalt battery pack and practiced some more. See picture. For the money not bad. Manual is written by someone with English as a second language but you can figure it out. Way better than soldering.

Definitely get what u paid for but it’s not that bad
The packaging wasn’t that bad and it does come with the manual and is really straightforward and when turning it on it’s really simple and before you use it you have to charge it up for at least 20 minutes for fully charge. When I was using this to make a 12s 4p battery pack it came out better than I thought the first few problems was number one you use heat shrink for the handles so you don’t burn your fingertips off but it still gets really hot so if I were you I’ll wear some gloves. Number to settings around 4 to 6 will be the ones that you have to use because everything else does not work. You have to spot well at least the same spot multiple times so it can stick. And please check the spot and pull and tug on it so you can make sure you got a good weld I have to spout well each battery at least 10 times so I know the nickel strip will stay on the battery and you’ll know that it’s a good weld once you pull the little rod off the battery and it was stuck for a little bit but otherwise this is not a bad pack for like small usage and stuff like that I don’t think you should be using this for a big battery pack like I did if I were you I will just save up a little bit more money and get one of the better ones the $50-$60 ones should work but otherwise this is not a bad spot welder

Get's Small Jobs Done
I bought this to rebuild vintage computer battery packs. I've gotten two done so far. The pros: Gear 4 was great for the task, probes were fine, battery got me through all of the packs. The cons: Really short cables mean I was dragging the base box around the work area. The instructions are a hilarious English translation. Once I figured out the settings, all was well.

Works great
Just what I needed to make my battery packs!

Battery dead in less than a year
Functioned pretty well but will not weld thicker material. Battery is dead and is now a paper weight.

Great buy!!
I needed to repack my ebike battery and needed a spot welder. Being i am on a budget, this was a great buy for the money. I've never used a spot welder before and this makes it easy for anyone with some sense to make good spot welds. If youre looking for a spot welder this is the one.

First time welder here.
The welder worked for me with a bit of practice. The instructions were simple to follow, the welder worked like I expected. I repaired a Tineco vacuum battery (replaced the cells) with little effort. HOWEVER... The ad and documentation stated that it would work with .15 mm nickel strips but shipped with .10 mm ones. Sometimes while practicing on level 6 it appeared that the setting was just right, other times it would just blow holes in the strip. Can this unit support .15mm strips? If so please include them with the package.

Buen producto
Es un buen producto por el precio que ofrece y el manual viene bien detallado, la única observación es que no viene con el cubo eliminador para su carga pese a que específica yUna alimentación de un voltaje y amperaje determinado

Worked great
I was skeptical when I took it out of the box.I charged it up...Read the instructions which is very straight forward.I didn't even need to do a test run. I set it to 4th level and fixed up my drill battery by replacing one of the 18650. I used a small piece of the nickle strip provided ...then...BAM...Worked on the very first try.I plan on using this for other projects like small tack jobs.

Stopped charging after a few charges
Terrible device. At first I thought it was okay. It seemed like it was powerful, but I quickly realized it was problematic. It heats up very quickly, so you must use gloves after about 10 welds. That's okay, but the charge doesn't last very long (like 10 or welds) before mode 6 (strongest) is very weak and 0.16 mm nickel will not weld together as strongly. It has a very Inconsistent weld quality which diminishes as the battery drains. Overall, This device is impractical to build anything over a 4 cell battery. However, I still wouldn't recommend this for a drill battery (3s2p) because it completely died on me after a few uses. It just stopped charging altogether (probably an issue with the battery or electronics)Tldr: terrible quality and very low power. Not worth it.

Meant for occasional use, but works fine, may need to repeat welds in each spot to get good bond
Underpowered even at max setting, so you have do the weld a few times on the same spots vs. just once. This also means this welder is not meant for heavy use like putting together a power wall or an EV battery pack with hundreds of cells... This is really for home/hobbyist users rebuilding a cordless tool pack with 5 or 6 cells or building small project battery packs. Do a few tests with the nickel strip thickness you are using to figure out how many times you may have to weld on the same spot to get a good bond (which should tear the strip if you try to tear it off with pliers).. I just got the unit delivered today, gave it a charge and have already rebuilt a couple of my cordless drill packs, so even if it doesn't last much longer than this, it has already paid for itself..
