BLACK+DECKER 7-1/4-Inch Circular Saw with Laser, 13-Amp (BDECS300C)

This is a great power saw; the blade that came with it was hard to cut lumber with but the saw is so nice, i just went to Home Depot an bought a $5 Avanti 7 1/4" framing/construction saw blade with carbide on the tips of the blades. And it cuts through lumber like a knife going through soft butter! The motor is powerful and it's easy to operate (lightweight and easy to hang onto). It's a great saw for all my projects at a great price (cutting fence pickets to the right length and 2x4s for fence horizontal framing, cutting 2x4s to mount on the garage wall and put hooks in for hanging shovels, etc. This saw will last for years!

Nice and easy. The laser guide was super helpful when cutting 4ft X 8ft sheets of wooden lattice which does not really lend itself to drawing a line and following. The laser lined up all the way down the lattice keeping me straight through wood, gaps, and all! Price was less expensive then comparable items that had the laser guide and the warranty is much better/longer. Also it came with a blade that worked fine for cutting 2X4's, fence planks, and the lattice. I couldn't be happier with the saw.

The saw is good quality, the laser is nice. Be careful though because it has no safety. And a word of advice, do not use the sawblade that comes with it. It warps very easily and that’s super dangerous. I recommend spending some money on a good diablo blade. The danger is not worth saving $15

I couldn’t imagine how much easier it would be using a saw”just 4lbs. lighter” than my old B&D saw was until I used it on a DIY project...it was like the difference between night&day.My right hand and arm weren’t sore when I finished working.This lighter saw is easier to cut thru plywood and 2x4s thanks to its laser guide.I chose B&D based on its dependability(my old saw lasted nearly 20yrs of projects)....its lower price is definitely a bonus for this DIY woman.

It’s good and running great

This works just like my old one of 25 years which finally died, except that this one has a laser pointer on it. Today is the end of May 2024. I have used it for the first time now. I have not learned how to use the laser pointer, trying it for the first time the laser did not indicate where they should go when I follow the laser pointer. It did NOT cut along the measured line. I had to watch the line from behind the sawblade to see where the sawblade is Cutting. Amazon asks me to rate maneuverability. This is an interesting question because they saw is not very maneuverable to begin with. That is why I gave it one star.

What I like of this product is it comes with a blade , when you buy in store only the machine. The job get done quickly when you have both for a really good price. The quality is perfect for small project .speed wise

Buen producto. Fácil de usar. Viene con un disco de 34 dientes lo que está bien para trabajos sencillos de solo cortar madera. Pará mejores acabados recomiendo hacerse de disco de más dientes. La guía láser ayuda mucho. Me hubiera gustado que la guarda fuera de metal, ya que es de plástico (espero sea resistente en caso de que el disco se que quiebre) y no incluye la guía de corte.

Saw machine is good and easy to operate,but needed new replacement saw blades as one which came with the package was not great.And this is not optimal for ceramic cutting.

No es una herramienta de trabajo pesado o intenso y no la recomiendo para un carpintero. El precio es lo que pagas y sirve para trabajos en casa pero nada mas, en cuanto a las criticas de que no se sostiene o que el laser esta desalineado recomendaría leer las instrucciones porque todo eso es regulable y solo hay que ajustar bien los mecanismos. en cuanto a la sierra que incluye es chafa pero sirve para cortar maderas conglomeradas, si quieres cortar madera dura como caoba y cedro mejor compra una sierra de mas dientes y con acabados de carburo de tungsteno. Dicho lo anterior es buena compra por mil pesos mexicanos (50 dlls) para trabajos de casa o hacerte una mesa o muebles sencillos. La corriente electrica es importante pues si fluctua mucho podrias quemar el motor pero eso lo compensa la marca con garantia de dos años. El ruido.... eso si es una molestia, deberas adquirir tambien unos cobertores de seguridad si no quieres dañar tus oidos asi que tomen precauciones. Resumiendo; es buena compra por lo que puedes hacer, mucha precaucion con los esfuerzos pues tiene muchas partes plasticas.
