The 1/2 inch by 25 foot worked quite well for me. Our upstairs toilet was plugged tighter than a drum. I had removed the stool and poured 4 bottles of sulfuric acid over a course of 2 and half weeks and was't getting anywhere. This snake went down the 3 inch pipe easily. I know I went around at least one bend without much trouble. I'm very happy with this purchase, it solved the issue quickly. I debated whether or not to go with the 3/4 inch snake, it may of worked fine...I can't say but had a feeling it might of been a bit to stiff for a 3 inch pipe. Believe I made the right choice with the 1/2 inch, very happy.

It is a well-made sewer rod. The only problem that I had with it was using it under the sink. The end of the rod was too long to make a short turn to go further down into the pipe. I will have to cut the end of it off so that I will be able to make the bend but other than that, it is well made, and I would recommend buying it for anyone that has a need for something to keep smaller sewer lines unstopped.

I purchased this item to help correct some septic flow problems. This item is very sturdy and well worth the cost. A very good purchase.

I like that the flat metal is wound inside a storage bracket that allows it to be unwound for use and rewound fairly easily. It is limber enough to go through a clean out and strong enough to push things through the pipe or break it up.
