First off this is a well made item. Chain is sturdy and looks good. Nice leather stitched hand loop. I bought this because of a huge behavior issue with my bulldog. He gets so excited going on walks that he chews his lead excessively. It was a bad behavior loop. He gets excited and starts chewing, the more he chewed the more excited he would get until he was impossible to control. I spent 2 years trying every training technique I could find. I even consulted a professional trainer and nothing worked. I ran across advice recommending a chain leash to prevent the dog from chewing through their lead but this wasn’t my issue. I wasn’t worried about him chewing through the leash but rather his escalating excitement. I was going to try a shock collar but ordered this first. From the first time he was done. He didn’t like the feel of the chain at all and just stopped even trying. Since was wasn’t chewing anymore he would get a little excited and then calm down. Walks were now calm and relaxed. It was a miracle. If you are running into this issue try this leash or one like it.

Looks beautiful def worth the money

Product was above what I had expected for a relatively low priced chain leash. The chain has a nice weight to it, with a beautiful high quality metal material, and the leather handle adds an extra, yet subtle, flair that really completes the overall appearance of the leash. I purchased the rose gold color because I’m a sucker for rose gold, and I must say it really stands out when I’m walking my dog. It really is beautiful! I have a beagle so this leash is perfect in terms of length AND he can’t chew through it and it doesn’t wear out like other leashes I’ve owned before. When I walk him I like to keep him close, but it is still long enough to let him explore a bit. To be clear it isn’t very long, but great for dog owners who want their dog relatively closer to them during walks in the neighborhood/park. 10/10 for me.
