Recommended. Its installation was much, much easier than another popular brand I've tried. The FEIT app is stable and easy to use, unlike another popular brand, which kept either not finding and/or dropping its connection and was quite complicated and frustrating to use. In my case, installation was done in six steps, using my cel phone, as follows: (1) Download the FEIT app; (2) Put the light bulb in the desired fixture, in this case a desk lamp, and turn it on. It blinks continuously to indicate it's in pairing mode; (3) Turn on Bluetooth and and add the device in the app; (4) See the success status statement in the app; (5) Rename it if desired; and (6) if desired, as in my case, associate it to Alexa to allow control of the FEIT bulb from Alexa. Although the bulb can be controlled from the FEIT app without integration into Alexa or any other smart home central control app. The bulb itself appears to be high quality, which I don't doubt based on my experience with other FEIT products. The installation booklet (attached to this review) is well written and clear to understand. Also this bulb is rated for use in enclosed fixtures. The appearance of the LED vintage-style filaments adds a nice touch. I've deleted the other brand's two wi-fi lights, put those in the trash, and replaced them with two of these FEIT wi-fi bulbs. Works as advertised.

This bulb worked perfectly. We wanted a porch light that did not over power the night and this worked great. We were able to dim it as low as we did which put a nice warm glow on our front porch area. Set it to go on and off at sunset and off at sunrise. This fit our can light after getting a little larger cover which was no problem at all. Looks great! I posted a picture and in reality, the photo is a bit brighter than reality.

This smart floodlight is brighter than most available (they usually cap out at 60 Watt equivalent) and it works seamlessly with Alexa without needed a separate hub. You do need to download the app for initial set-up and for any changes you want to make going forward. I love that you can choose different white colors as well as any others. installation — just screw in the lightbulb — and set-up — use the app to connect to your home network — couldn’t be easier. I use primarily Kasa bulbs and switches in my house, but when I couldn’t get the brightness level I wanted, I turned to Feit because I know the brand. I use this bulb in a torchiere. Because it’s difficult to reach the switch where the lamp is located, I just ask Alexa to turn it on and off. While I would have preferred it to be part of the Kasa app control to set timers and schedules, I’m fine with it being separate.

The bulbs work as expected generally with one exception. I did not find it clear that the brightness isn't just significantly reduced when using one color, it is reduced to well under half the brightness. You can't illuminate a small room on the color settings. If used for decoration this is likely adequate but do not expect to be able to do anything requiring vision by this light. I found the app somewhat clunky, but the bulbs connected to my wi fi well enough. The variation in white light from daylight to soft white to cool is quite good. Since I am using the color aspect for decoration these were a decent value for me.

Beautiful bulbs! I had the Feit electric app already downloaded and the Feit Alexa skill activated before I started. That took maybe 2 minutes. Couldn’t be easier. Screwed in bulb and it started blinking which signals it’s ready to connect to WiFi. Opened the Feit app and the bulb popped up immediately. My network popped up, I got connect and in less than 1 minute I was connecting my bulb. I have an Eero mesh network. I think all the complaints are from people with older routers that don’t auto select 2.4 and 5.0 networks. My second bulb was just as easy, though it did take a second attempt to connect but I think it was because I walked away from the light and it lost connection. You need to stay within a couple feet until you get the completed message. They look beautiful and work flawlessly with Alexa. I also don’t think many reviewers understand what no hub means. They don’t need a separate hub, they use your existing WiFi network and an app or skill.

Arrived new, installed ten to chandelier. After several attempts was about to connect 9 of the 10. Then the last one stopped going into pairing mode and was not connected to the app. Tried several times at switching all 10 off/on 5x, but only 9 of the 10 that were connected would go into flashing pairing mode but not the last one. Even after those 9 were previously connected. I was directed by Amazon to contact the manufacturer and when I gave them the lot number, was advised that the product is no longer under warranty. If that's the case, I'm absolutely returning all of these products because I'm not going to leave my customer on the hook beyond Amazon's 30-day return policy with a bunch of junkie expired bulbs that have been sitting on the shelf so long they no longer carry a warranty. I should have known better even buying Fiat products as I'm constantly replacing 2-5-year-old product that somebody else installed for my customers in the past, and replacing them with Sunco which carries a 9-year warranty from the day of registering. Not manufacturing date like Feit. These products are absolute junk, as is the brand, and I can quantify that by the amount of lights I've had to replace with my preferred brand. The only angle they have is distribution in retail, there are far more superior brands offering the same products. Only reason I got these were for the convenience of overnight delivery. Never again, Feit.

I'd have 5 of these installed for the past year or so in my living room - use them everyday through Google Home. These are great bulbs, very stable, no flickering, no issues at all. They are reasonably priced and very easy to set up. I will definitely get Feit Electric smart bulbs in the future - highly recommended.

I bought 2 packs containing 3 bulbs per pack. One bulb is burnt ( does not come on). Had issues programming the bulbs. I went on YouTube to learn how. Overall satisfied and I didn’t want to send one pack back for one burnt bulb. However I should be compensated for this
