Turtle Beach Recon 200 Gen 2 Amplified Gaming Headset - PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S One, Nintendo Switch & PC

I recently purchased the Turtle Beach Recon 200 Gen 2 headset to use with my Xbox Series X, and overall, I'm quite pleased with my purchase. These headphones are incredibly comfortable to wear, even for long periods of time, which is a major plus for me. The audio quality is also quite good, with clear sound and good bass.One feature that I particularly appreciate is the flip-to-mute microphone, which is easy to use and very convenient. It's a nice touch that makes communication during online gaming sessions a lot easier. The controls on the headset are easy to use and provide quick access to volume and microphone settings.The only downside to this headset is that the audio cable is attached and cannot be removed. This means that if the cable gets damaged or broken, the headset will be unusable. However, this is a minor issue and doesn't detract from the overall quality of the product for the price you pay for them.All in all, I would definitely recommend the Turtle Beach Recon 200 Gen 2 headset to any gamer looking for a comfortable, high-quality headset with excellent audio and a convenient flip-to-mute microphone.

Good fit, noise quality is great, good price and light weight

I bought this exact headset a while back, and it worked great. I ended up giving it away to a friend who need a headset, and since I had the funds to make a new purchase I decided on buying the same one.The box was in great condition, and upon opening the box and seeing the headset for the first time, it looked brand new (as expected seeing as I bought it unused). However, despite it looking great, and it being the exact same model, I noticed that the mic was cheap feeling compared to my other one. The plastic seems thinned out and in general less solid but I don't think it's something too much of an issue unless you find yourself heavy handed, or rough when flipping it up and down to mute.On terms or performance, its really good. The sound quality is great, specially with the base boosted audio via the battery. Speaking of the battery, it's audio lasted a lot longer than expected.I was a bit worried about using the mic in private voice and game chats, but i was genuinely impressed with the feedback from some friends and strangers. The mic picks up on your voice really well, while negating background audio (with help from built in software from other party services - i.e. discord and so forth), and there's no echo.I tested this mic on the following consoles:Ps5, Xbox s/x, Mobile, PC, and Quest 2 VRResults per console I tested:Ps5 - Audio works great, Mic is loud, clear, and doesn't echo.Xbox s/x - Audio works well, Mic is a bit quieter, and has few random echos. Still works well though.Mobile - Audio is good, mic is quiet but still works woth no echo. Has a little buzz sound in both categories.Pc - Audio is okay sounding, the mic is quiet and echos a lot.Quest 2 Vr - Audio works great with the PS setting, the mic is loud and clear with the odd echo.Overall opinion:Given this item is on sale at the time of review,And that I purchased it disconnected, I 100% recommend it. Its generally a good headset specially for the price range. Yes, the materials used feel cheaper than when I last picked this model up, but as long as you're not rough with it, and take care of it, I don't see it being an issue and breaking. The audio is great for most consoles (that i use), and the mic is clear and doesn't echo. The battery life is good, and only takes an hour charging with the given cable to be fully charged. I do think it's worth the base price, but if you can get it on sale its well worth it!

Bought these as a present for my son who has found them to be a great asset to his game play. Good fit and, blocks out exterior noises.

I purchased these headphones but the right ear isnt working, the sound quality isnt the best. Would not buy again. Its not like its super bad though.

Great pair of headphones for ps5 sound is great no crackles or anything microphone so you can charge the headset but you still need to plug in the headphones but the charge will last around 10 hours personally it could be longer but still great for price and superb quality they are not wireless in any way

They're are the best headphones I've brought from thus company, haven't broken since I've brought them, sleek design, the mic sounds fantastic, the noise is on point, plus its boosts the sound which is even greater. If you're thinking of buying them, buy them!!!
