This book is a very comprehensive introduction to the visual arts. It's well written and full of gorgeous full color illustrations. While I ordered this book because it's required for a class, I'll probably keep it as a coffee table book. Got it a a great price through Amazon and delivery was prompt.

In looking for textbooks for my daughter, I'm always looking for a deal. I thought I had found it here (it was nearly $40 less than the campus bookstore). It arrived earlier than expected, which was great and in new condition. The downside is that the next day, someone told me about [...] where the same book was $68 cheaper than I paid here!!! Live and learn....I still got a deal here and the seller did a fabulous job. The textbook review part won't come from me....I just bought it for a class requirement.

I got this for an Art 101 class I am taking and honestly I am very surprised. For a textbook, it is remarkably easy to read, informative and interesting. I love how the author draws the reader in with numerous examples and of course photos of different art works. He covers many different topics. This book is really a joy to read. It is helping me knowledge of art expand so much.

Came super fast, a day before estimated shipping time. Expected less wear and tear but I didn't care considering all the pages were unmarked and the book wasn't falling apart at all! (Just some cover stickiness. Some warm water fixed it)If you need edition ten of this book, save 120 dollars and buy the 9th. Everything in this book has been what I've seen in the 10th book.Overall, for my first used/online text book order, I'm incredibly pleased and will be using this provider in the future. Don't know what to say other than it's great for what it is. Art lecture class is boaring and so is the information in the book. Just have to tough it out

Arrival was so quick and I completely fell in love with the book. Loving these subjects made it easier for me to completely read it and study it. Great examples and biographies.
