Talens Art Creation Sketchbook 80 Sheets, 12 cm x 12 cm, Pastel Violet

This is my second one of these sketchbooks. I love the size and portability and the paper quality is good

This little sketchbook has helped with overcoming burn out and art block, because of its small size being able to take it anywhere with ease helped a lot with my Ma illustration studies. The paper quality for sketching with pencils is great, I have yet to try it with copic markers and oil paints. The off white colouring is a refreshing change. Highly recommend for quick bursts of sketches!

The size is great for carrying abut with you for sketching, but the paper isnt wonderfull quality , and its ok- just ok, nothing more, however the size is great for carying around for little out and abut sketches ,and little studdlies . like the size, the paper could be a tad batter

It is an amazing sketchbook. Ive been using it for supplemental/inspo work for Alevels and it perfect for on the go. Its also great because it can withstand acrylic decently and can take a pretty hefty amount of collaging thanks to the elastic. The cover is a nice quality. Edit: I am 3 sketchbooks in now. Its a perfect little book for collaging and doodling and note-taking. Can handle paint and marker layers fairly well but pens work best.

The paper is such good quality and nothing leaks through I’m in love with the colour and having a sketchbook of this size is so convenient when I’m on the go

These sketch books are great. The size is easy to carry about in a handbag or other small bag. Paper can take paint as well as pencil, fineliner etc. Can open up and draw or paint across 2 pages.

These are my favourite sketchbooks. Hold a surprising amount of different mediums including gouache and watercolour despite having quite thin pages. Not suitable for ‘proper’ watercolour as no sizing etc but will happily take watercolour as part of mixed media spreads etc. Also fine with acrylic ink, acrylics, pencil crayons, brush pens, neocolors etc - some might cause cockling of the the pages which reduces when pressed shut but the pages rarely bleed through (alcohol markers will bleed). Repeat going over with something like a brush pen will pill the pages but they’re surprisingly resilient. Nice smooth pages with a cream tone. Exceptional value for money which makes them low pressure to use unlike more expensive sketchbooks which can feel too precious to get started in. This size is a good little compact size with loads of pages.

I have been using Talens Art Creation books for years and they never disappoint me. You can use every typ of medium on it and the papper is nice and smooth. The color is so pretty in person and the size is smaller then I normaly work in but it's fun to change sizes sometimes. Highly recommend this sketchbook!

Es pequeña y bonita, por su tamaño es muy practica para cargarla en el bolso y hacer uso de ella cada que se quiera.

J'adore le format carré de ce carnet, il est également plus facile à transporter avec soi de par son petit format.

Dit boekje gekocht vanwege het vierkante formaat. Het papier is mooi van kwaliteit, alleen naar mijn smaak te geel. Ik wil het papier liever wat witter, vooral als ik met kleurpotloden werk. Als je de gelige kleur van het papier geen probleem vindt is dit voor de prijs een goede aankoop.

Una calidad excepcional, ojalá nunca cambien ningún detalle de estas libretas. Las hojas no son tan gruesas pero se nota una calidad y textura, me encanta especialmente el color que es bastante amarillito, que es algo muy muy dificil de encontrar la mayoria son blancas y para dibujar aprecio mucho este colorcito más amarillito, dejo una comparación con un folio blanco, se nota mucha diferencia pero es un amarillento muy discreto pero que hace la diferencia a la hora de crear. La portada es de una calidad muy buena. Compré este tamaño (12cm x 12cm) por primera vez porque ví alguien comentar que era perfecto para Instagram, y la verdad que es un formato muy chulo!! El envío fue genial y muy rápido!
