Nail Saver!
WARNING: This review will be long. If you'd prefer to avoid my rambling, I will state the necessary information about this product now: 1.) My nails have been weak and peeling my whole life, and they are now strong and stable. 2.) The combination of the Foundation II and Intensive Therapy II has worked better than any other nail treatment I've tried. 3.) While the Foundation II can get pretty gloopy after a little while, it is absolutely worth a repurchase when this occurs. 4.) By using these two in conjunction with one another, my nails have grown out past my fingertips for the first time in my life! 5.) Buy it! You won't regret it. Now, on to my life story. I have always been a nail fiend. I love painting them, trying (and failing) nail art, experimenting with gels, acrylics and press-ons. Part of the reason I was always trying new things, even as a little girl, was that my nails were soft and peel-y. They always peeled in big sheets or tore off at the tip. This started me on the path to nail enhancements, which was a BIG mistake. I loved press-on nails. I used them countless times because I could do them myself and they were cheap. Unfortunately, I didn't want to wait and soak them in acetone to remove them. Instead, I figured chipping away at them and pulling was a better idea. Needless to say, this ruined my nails. I then tried at-home acrylics kits. These never turned out the way I wanted, so I ended up pulling these off too. (Not the smartest nail clipper in the...never mind). I then tried gel polish, because regular nail polish always peeled off of my nails in sheets. I got sick of the gel polish, and guess what I did! Yep, peeled that too. At this point, my already weak and peeling nails were destroyed. I never took good care of them, because they were never in good shape in the first place. But, after doing some research, I decided to try Nail Tek. I purchased these two items and began my "detox" and treatment. I saw a difference in my nails after about two days. I noticed how much stronger they felt and that the polish I layered over the Foundation II hadn't peeled (which polish usually does in about two hours for me). After a week, my nails had drastically improved. They had actually shown signs of a bit of growth, and were much stronger. Nail Tek allowed my nails to grow out quickly, which meant the damaged areas of my nails were grown out. I was able to start fresh with no damage on my nails, thanks to this product. My nails have NEVER looked this good. They grow out past my fingertips, are strong, yet flexible, and don't tear nearly as often. Also, the Foundation II as a base coat makes my polish last for three days or more, which is HUGE for me. I really cannot say enough about this product (clearly, as I have written a novel here). I really urge you to try it, because it has changed my nail life. Thank you to anyone who made it to the end of this thing. Good luck, and happy polishing!! :-)

Freakin AWESOME stuff
I bought the Intensive Therapy at a big box store that starts with W, fell in love with it, came to Amazon to check out other items from the brand. This duo cost me less than the single bottle did at the store. I'm either giving my mom my extra IT or I'm saving it. Background: I have extremely THIN peeling nails because of nutrient deficiencies that I need to work on. I do my nails a lot cause it's my passion, so my nails go through a lot of crap. But even when I take long hiatuses from painting them, they are still awful. I paint my nails 1-3 times a week, sometimes more, sometimes less. I've been using the IT for about 3 weeks, Foundation for about a week. My nails are about as bend-resistant as a generic solo cup if that makes sense. This is important to take note of. First lets talk about Intensive Therapy. WOW this stuff is great. After 2 or 3 uses, I noticed my nails were growing like crazy, polishes were applying smoother, and my nails started to feel thicker. They're starting to feel like real nails. I'm amazed. I have tried practically every strengthening base out there with no results. I will never stop using this stuff. I apply it 1-2 times a day if I'm not wearing regular polish. If I am, I apply a coat over my polish every day like the box says. The key to this stuff is CONSISTENCY. Use it a lot! Now for Foundation. I love it also. I haven't used it long enough to form too many opinions yet. But anyway. I have pretty ridge-y nails, so when I wear polish, you can see them and it ruins the look. They look ugly as you know what if I don't buff them, but that's bad for your nails. I applied this stuff and I was amazed. I looked at my nails from different angles and I hardly saw ridges. I also enjoy how it looks on it's own. It has a matte finish and makes my nails look thick. Bottom line, I really love both of these. I'm gonna experiment with layering them. I won't try any other bases for a long time. Even if this stuff gets gummy fast, I won't mind, because it's RIDICULOUSLY cheap at this price. Each one is about $10 at the store, which is not economical to buy every other month. You get both of these for less than that! You get them for the price of two crappy non-prestige-brand base coats like a certain brand that rhymes with Rally Manson. I am officially Nail Tek's newest fan. I love you NT!

Wonderful product!
This product is wonderful. I’ve been buying it for years at beauty supply places. So much easier it being delivered to my house. Will buy again. I have a vitamin deficiency and this is a life saver.

Does exactly what it states.
Im impressed with this system. I've been using it for almost 3 weeks now, and my nails have improved. First, I have soft nails to begin with, and they peel easily. I found growing my nails out difficult in the best of circumstances. Second, I had used gel nails for some recent events and weddings. My nails were practically paper thin and in HORRIBLE condition afterwards. YIKES! I used this for the last three weeks, and my nails are exactly how they should be. No breaking, no peeling, and grew out great. My nails feel strong and don't bend under the lightest pressure! So, this product does exactly what it says it does. Even when I wear nothing on my nails, they look good. The top coat dries a bit thin, and doesn't have the smooth-as-glass look, but rather looks as if you buffed your natural nails up a bit. So other clear polishes will look more refined as a top coat. So, if you use polish, use this system as the base, but use a different top coat after the polish.

Wouldn't have believed it if I didn't try it myself!
I have been using nail stickers and painting my nails a lot more often over the last several months. I have noticed that the combination of drier weather and repeated use of acetone nail polish remover have caused my nails to bend/break and peel. I was experiencing this on about half of my nails, while the others looked pretty good. I decided to try the Nail Tek Therapy II combo. I followed the instructions on the box, which I was glad included using nail polish after applying the product. I thought I might have to go without polish for a while, but it wasn't the case. So I could, theoretically, treat my nails and cover them up so they wouldn't look so bad. I first tried the Intensive therapy with a light pink polish. I LOVE the amazing shine. I used it under the pink and then on top. It takes a while to dry, so I decided that I would use a quick dry topcoat next time. But I used the therapy over the nails on days that I didn't repaint. The Intensive therapy was great, but I was now looking to try something a little more flashy. I decided to use Warm and Fozzy by OPI. It's a nice sparkly brown/copper polish, but it shows the smoothness, or lack thereof, your nails. I decided to use the foundation. It claims to fill the ridges and chips. When you paint it on, it is very thin and appears cloudy. I thought that it was too thin to do anything. But I went ahead and applied a second coat and then covered it with two coats of Warm and Fozzy. I followed it up with quick dry top coat. HOLY COW! I couldn't believe how well it turned out! You would never know my nails were less than perfect prior to painting them! They looked smooth and I could just BARELY feel where my nails had peeled. I tired the same process again with the new OPI Goldeneye. They turned out AMAZING! Again, I would never have believed it if I didn't try it. TRY IT YOURSELF :)

Let down.
I'm really really bummed with this product. All of the reviews (I looked at multiple website's reviews) said that this was the best product for strengthening nails. I've never had a problem growing my nails but they always flake off and break at the corners and sides so I end up with broken/jagged nails and they never get as long as I'd like. When I bought this stuff I trimmed all of my nails down and filed them to a rounded square. I followed the directions exactly and applied a coat every day for a week and then took it all off and started over. It seemed to be working the first 2 weeks but my nails were also short. Then disappointingly they started breaking and flaking on the sides just like before. Nailtek might have strengthened them a little but I think it was just all the layers of polish that made it appear to be stronger. I'll still continue to use it for a while at least since I think having a few coats of it will make my nails less likely to break, but it wasn't the miracle product that I hoped for. Also it kind of freaks me out that there's formaldehyde in it, which is a known carcinogen and according to my University of Michigan anatomy professor, you should stay away from at all costs. I guess just make sure to use it with a window open!

Best Nail Strengthener
I love NailTek II. It is the one product that helps my weak nails to grow out stronger and healthier. And this is also a great value.

Works AMAZING
Honestly the best thing readily available for nail growth and strength. Hardens nails without making them brittle, strengthens them without making them super hard and thick with buildup, and causes growth to be super fast. Only addition I would want would be for it to be lightening and have the option of a matte formula as well. I'll always rebuy this when I run out.
