RDL STP-1 Universal Audio Attenuator - 2 Channel

The RDL STP-1 allows connection of the SNOM PA-1 to a Bogen TPU-35A. It will match the impedance (resistance/ohms) of the PA-1 output to the Tip and Ring input of the Bogen. The Bogen is designed to get input from older non-VOIP PBX systems. It is expecting 600 ohms, the standard from a PSTN phone system. I was able to get the PA-1 (Snom voip to PA system - 4 watt/8 ohms output) to play well with the Bogen. My first PA-1 worked with the Bogen but the amp output of the PA-1 stopped working after 4 months, I think maybe the impedance mismatch might have been the issue. Attached pins 1 and 5 to the PA-1 speaker output and pins 3 and 4 to the TIP and Ring of the Bogen. Would also work for Line Input conversion from what I see.

Product did exactly what we needed it to do. Did impedance matching between 8 ohm SNOM and 600ohm 'Dry Loop' Bogen PA System. The instructions sheet that comes with device shows various connection types, so I was able to identify the connection setting even though I have zero experience with PA systems. I wanted to be sure I was right, so I called the support number. To my surprise a support person answered. The tech on the phone answered my questions. Up and working all in under 15 minutes. Amazing!
