Rejuvenating Foam Cleanser

This is a wonderful way to clean your face and neck. A bottle lasts quite a while too.

First off, this has a rose scent, it’s mild, but if you don’t like rose scents you might want to avoid it. I actually do NOT like rose scent, rose perfumes, etc, however I do like using this product. The rose scent is fairly mild, I believe, so I have managed to get used it. (I can’t say the same for the rose toner by the same brand which has a stronger scent.) So that being said - even though I don’t like the scent - I STILL use this because I like how it cleans my skin. It gently removes most of the ick off my face. I don’t really wear much makeup, so I’m referring to sweat that accumulates when I sleep and anything over the course of the day. I live in Florida, so it gets pretty hot and humid. I’m also exposed to strong UV on a daily basis - even on a quick jaunt to the mailbox. I don’t feel like my skin has been scoured by acid, but at the same time I do feel like it effectively gets the job done. Another gentle foam cleaner I have makes me question if it cleaned anything off my face. I don’t feel like that with this one. Although this doesn’t have that wake-up zing I get from my green bottle of green Clinique cleanser, I still feel like I’m getting a similar level of satisfaction in terms of cleaning off the gunk. I don’t think my face ever feels dried out to any major degree, and I’ve never experienced any irritation or redness. The foam lathers satisfyingly too. I only need one pump, but sometimes I get carried away and use two anyways. Thanks to foam using little product, this should last me a while.

Wonderful, foaming cleanser with a delicate and natural rose scent. I have sensitive skin that has had a lot of exposure to the sun, dust and the elements being an avid hiker and this not only removes makeup and pollutants from my face after a long day at the office but also grit, grime and sweat after a particularly brutal hike. It does it all. And gently. I rinsed it off with plain water. I like to wash my face in the shower and get my pores nice an steamy to maximize cleansing and then apply a toner while toweling off. I am using the Bio Jouvance night cream as well so this is one of my more pampering night skincare routines. A super clean face ready for nighttime repairing treatments. Perfect! The foaming of the dispenser is a bit higher end than you see with cheaper foaming cleansers. One pump of it gives you more than enough product to perfectly clean your face. And it truly doesn’t appear that you’ll be going through this quickly because of the foaming. It’s a great value for the money compared to liquid cleansers that glop out and you have to lather quickly before it falls into the sink. The foam comes out almost like a mousse. Excellent cleanser and I would get it again in a heartbeat. Bio Jouvance makes a fantastic product with this cleanser as part of a sensitive, mature skin line. The night moisturizer is a dream. Definitely check it out. I’m probably going to pick up their day cream as well. Some products just work better for my excessively dry skin. This one is just exceptional.

This French skincare line is one I've tried several products from. This particular cleanser is not my favorite because of the strong floral scent. It smells very strongly of roses, but not in that fresh rose way, more like when you got into your grandmother's perfume as a child and got it all over yourself and instantly regretted your life decisions. It's not a scent I enjoy on my face. But I've still used this quite a bit because I can get past the scent for the benefits of the cleanser. It's gentle and mild. It removes oils without leaving my skin feeling overly dry. It's a great foam cleanser and something I'd recommend to others, so long as you don't mind the smell of rose. I use this product as part of my own personal full skincare routine. Individual results could vary from person to person. Always remember to test new products in small areas until you're sure of any reaction your skin may have to something new. Bio Jouvance Rejuvenating Foam Cleanser Bio Jouvance has been making products for over three decades and they have many different skincare products. This cleanser is made in the European Union (France) and is cruelty free. This nice-looking foaming cleanser (it’s a pretty shade of pink and would look good displayed on a bathroom counter) arrived in a thin box. The 8 fl oz. / 240 ml. plastic bottle inside contains a foam cleanser that has a definite rose scent that does dissipate, mostly, relatively quickly. However, if you don’t like scented facial skin care, or the scent of rose, this will not be for you. I found it pleasant but liked that it dissipated. The ingredients listed are: Deionized water, Allantoin (I had to look this one up – it’s used in skincare to protect skin from irritation), Green Tea Extract, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Rose Hip Oil, Natural preservatives and fragrances. So, the ingredients are good. I’ve now cleaned my face several times, and I really like this cleanser. It has a good pump which produces a lot of foam. One pump was enough to clean my face and neck, so the 8 oz. bottle should last quite a while. This cleanser is meant to be gentle; it shouldn’t dry or irritate your skin. That was my experience. It can also act as a shaving cream (very foamy!). My face felt clean and soft after using it, but I also wanted to use a light moisturizer afterwards before bed. There is no expiration or best buy date on the box or bottle that I could see.
