This stuff is as sticky as it says. It's a good strength and it sticks really well.

1 star. Wouldn't stick to a wooden magnetic knife block. Used isopropyl alchohol to prep the surface, no affect. Tried to remove the backing to adhere my workpiece and the tape was coming up at the corners with it, and was easy to remove the whole strip of tape from the knife block. Update: Changed rating from 1 star to 5 star. After letting the tape set up on my wooden magnetic knife block the corners still wanted to pull up when removing the backing, but the center of the tape was firmly attached. I mounted the wood block onto a wood panel in my RV and it's now holding my knives. The magnet is fairly strong, so it requires a fair amount of force to remove the knives, but the wooden block does not budge at all being held only with this tape! I did tape across the entire back of the knife block.

We use this Gorilla brand quite a bit and I needed a tape like this so I chose this over the 3M brand. This was a bit wider than what I needed so I did end up splicing it in half for one project and it worked ok. I also used 4 pieces to affix a sort of curtain to the ceiling in my kiddos room and it fell down a few days later, awakening him during a nap. I'll definitely try it again but I worry that in this specific instance the 3M velcro strips might be better.

There is nothing like Gorilla heavy duty double sided mounting tape. I’ve used it on several projects and it has never failed me. Highly Recommend

This Gorilla double sided mounting tape is very strong. It is not too thick, so my pictures hang close to the wall. IT is very easy to cut and use. For the best holding strength, apply the tape up and down, not side to side. This is a very good value for this since you get two rolls and both are 60 inches long. This tape is 1 inch wide. This mounting tape is much stronger than others I have used.

This was purchased by me Solely because I have used other Gorilla products including sealant and glue. This tape was unable to remain tacky enough on the exposed side after the tremendous amount of handling needed to split the tape. You cannot just label any old crap, “Gorilla” when these new products might increase sales in the short term, but soon, the label will be so prolific that potential HIGH percentage of impulse sales was because of the name in the ORIGINAL super-effective products. Watch the movie “Tommy Boy” and my warning is or should make you reduce your marketing, over-using the name for focus groups/Gorilla product label and make trials of every stage,and continue to make sure that the product is better, and stronger than the competitors’ fact

Excelente cinta, con muy buen pegamento y firmeza si se deja pegar bien. No creo que haya una mejor cinta en superficies lisas. Mucho mejor que otras (3M) similares que NO ofrecen el mismo nivel de resistencia a ese peso/carga. Compraría más al terminarme la primera ya que sieve para muchas cosas: fijar cuadros, lamparas, arte, incluso la usaré para fijar el intercomunicador del casco de mi moto, ya que el pegamento que tiene no aguantó el uso.

Very good mounting tape, original and heavy-duty.

We used three rolls (plus a bit of mirror adhesive) to hold up LARGE 1.8m x 1.2m mirror on our bathroom wall. done the trick. Also used it for photo frames etc.
