Purchased this little machine to dry out flooded garage. It’s very sturdy, quiet, and easy to use. It has been running continuously since the day it arrived and does a great job. I like that it turns off when the catch tray is full. Gave it four stars because the catch tray is a little difficult to pull out When emptying and has a cover inside that is a nuisance when emptying. Also noticed that the hose needs to be longer and empty into a drain that is lower than the level of the machine. Like a shower rather than a kitchen sink.

I purchased this to help keep the humidity reasonable in my Texas apartment. Running the a/c is a lot less effective when it just feels damp and sticky all the time!I've had other dehumidifiers in the past, and I was afraid of it being noisy, and also the size. (It has measurements, of course, but really having it in the room still always seems different).This unit is terrific!Pros:Relatively small, nice and sleek.Pretty quiet, noise is a gentle white noise.Good tank capacity.Love the flap on the top of the tank. Makes it so much easier to empty without spilling. (Comes with a hose, too, if your location works for that).Controls and display are simple and easy to read.Price is great for this size and tier.The only small con for me, which could be a pro for others, is that the colored indicator light on the front is rather bright. It would make a good night-light!Absolutely recommend!

I purchased this humidifier and found it to be quite effective so I purchased a second one for my home! The second one appeared to function well, but after two weeks it was noted the it did not remove one drop of humidity from the surrounding atmosphere in my home! When I advised Amazon of the problem they advised that it could be returned via UPS immediately! I was then advised that it could only be returned if it was fully packaged for shipment! Since I did not have the original cartons nor any way to obtain shipping material, UPS could not accept the item! Therefore I am currently stuck with a useless piece of equipment with no recourse! Buyer beware of this item!

Worth every penny! We use it in our basement laundry room and it makes a massive difference and it’s fun to see all the moisture it’s pulling from the air in the water area. Easy to use. We live in a dry climate but our basement definitely has some humidity so we go every other day emptying it.
