What has this game been around for 40yrs or more, right?? Bought this for a 6yo that needs to learn it just as I did at her age! This generic is slightly cheaper and the difference is that you have to tip it upside down when you are clearing the board as opposed to the sliding mechanisim in the real Connect 4 edition... I think I like this one even better b/c I always found the legs of the real version to be somewhat unstable, especially whatever it is you are playing on... this game can be played anywhere, floor, couch, I think it is a much more versital design.... And I'm sure you will agree if you buy this and are familiar with the original brand name design!

It's a great generic version of connect 4. You have just as much fun with the kids. I would recommend it. It's well-made.

My grandson and I FaceTime while playing this game. I tell him which slot to put my token in. Seven year old grandson usually wins. Keeps me on my toes trying to out maneuver him.

This toy is very similar to connect four I use it with all ages of kids.They love the challenge of blocking other students and getting four in a row. Only once the game is over and they want to start again they need help to separate the top from the bottom to get out the pieces the old connect four you just slide a piece and the pieces come out neatly in this connect four. you either separate the top from the bottom or turn it upside down and hope the pieces won't role under all pieces of furniture when they come out that way. But the kids really enjoy the game and the game appears very durable. Great price compared to connect four 4 In A Row

Gift, works well, I use this game in the youth facility I work in. It lasts so much longer than Connect 4. I am a Recreational Therapist. I order a lot of games. I stopped ordering Connect 4 years ago. Connect 4 breaks with hard use. 4 in a row lasts forever. Can’t say enough good things about this product.

This game is played with by 55 kids approximately every day and the blue part that holds the chips is easy to put together in easy to take off and has not broken! The other brands have 😕 so thank you for engineering this design correctly!

I got this for a 6-year old. I liked this toy when I was a kid, and my own children enjoyed it, too. Younger players like making patterns, but as they get more proficient, they learn to predict what can happen several moves ahead. A good choice for fun, coordination, and logic.

This is the third brand of game we purchased, and I love this one the best. The grid sits in a track in the base, so there aren't any legs breaking off or slide releases getting stuck. I bought this for my daughter, due to her autism she likes to make patterns and there aren't many toys that make her happy, but she's gotten 100's of hours of joy from this
