I purchased two of these for my ferrets. Perfect water bottle for them. Easy to use. I did have to buy velcro stickers to attach at the bottom because they can easily move them and knock it over. The cactus is made of glass. The design is cute and work perfectly. Have not had any issues.

Delighted with the purchase, one of the cutest hamster’s water bottles ever the way is set up with cactus ceramic holder. So for so good and no leakage. Like the idea of ability to get it clean every few days and not sort of clean, you can get inside perfect with bottle brush as well the tube in it is a little larger then most so we can use one of our stainless steel straw cleaner brushes inside easy and then rinse super good, seals and tube - good to go. We would buy another if necessary, pleased with the overall product.

I just got this new water bottle + stand for my hamster and I am so glad I chanced upon this while browsing for hamster stuff!! The bottle fits in easily, and is identical to the Niteangel water bottle. I have a pure white robo and this goes with my desert cactus theme perfectly and will stand super sturdy, won't be afraid of it toppling over. I prefer this in my hamster enclosure hands down than the Niteangel one since comparing both stands, this is more stable and does not take too much space compared to the other one and will be using the Niteangel for the playpen instead. Super love it!!

Our hedgie loves his new water bottle but he can be a bit eager and knocks it over often. A few rocks in the bottom helped, but he will still tip it every once in a while. The bottle isn’t particularly large, but I don’t mind because it means he get fresh water more often. Overall super cute and a great water bottle holder

Note that gerbils have more strength than hamsters. I gave my gerbil the plastic water bottle stand, which used to work fine with my hamster, and she flipped it and chewed out immediately. They plastic material is definitely not for gerbils. I am very happy to have this water bottle stand and water bottle. It is very sturdy and my gergil can not move or chew it. The water bottle is good quality and doesn't leak. I used a tape to stick the water bottle to the wall. It works perfectly. Gerbils are from desert. It is great to have a water bottle stand in cactus shape.

WARNING. The water bottle does NOT fit the little cactus stand. It's too small and the water bottle tilts backwards slightly... this causes a pressure issue that essentially seals the water into the bottle. I have two hamsters and, a few days after buying this product, I noticed one hamster had drank nearly half his bottle, while this one (for the other hamster) was almost untouched. I played around with it to make sure it was dispensing water and discovered the issue. I had to pack the cactus stand with tissue paper to get the bottle to stand completely upright, and the moment I did, my hamster came out and drank about a third of the bottle. I was EXTREMELY lucky to catch the issue; my hamster could have died of dehydration from this poor design. Do NOT recommend. It's cute, but if your goal is to actually allow your hamster to drink water, get something more practical.

Update: the bottle does not consistently work. Thankfully I had also ordered a niteangel water dish for our hamster, I took it out of its box and filled it and our poor ham emptied half of the bowl. He apparently has not had reliable water since we put this in his cage a couple of days ago. I have been more hyper aware and checking the bottle now and it only works after you initially flip it over to put it in the stand (properly just from the pressure). After that, it completely halts and releases no water. I am hoping this is just a defective bottle because the stand is precious and the bottle felt well made - I will contact the seller and offer an update when I have one. Our hamster’s enclosure is high-walled and I did not want to trust adhesive strips to secure a water bottle - perfectly adorable solution. The bottle fits perfectly into the stand, I poured sand in the bottom as recommended, tested the water flow and so far everything seems excellent!

My hamsters are in aquarium tanks so I needed a base to hold their bottles. This base is perfect because it’s really cute, it’s heavy enough that the hamsters can’t tip it over, and it’s easy to clean, I think you can even put it in the top rack of your dishwasher. I don’t like the bottle it came with, though. Even though when I press the ball with my finger, water comes out, for some reason my hamster can’t get it to release water. So I switched out the bottle with a Lixit brand 4 oz bottle, and that solved the problem.
