I selected this radio because of its form factor. So far, so good as far as radio operation. CarPlay works as it should. I have not tried android auto. The knobs and buttons do not feel cheap. Overall, pleased. You are paying for the form factor here and bigger screen than the multitude of a healer options with the 5” screen which is too small IMO for my preference.

Had an issue with the unit but seller made it right with me

I got this double din carplay unit to add some new technology to a 10+ year old Corolla. Installing this carplay unit was a little involved and a bit frustrating at times because the instructions were minimal.Here are my thoughts on the installation experience:- Comes with only a standard radio wiring harness. I found it easier to buy the radio harness specific to my car and solder/splice that into the Yuanting standard harness. This will make the installation go a lot faster. I used Metro brand wiring harnesses to make the job easier.- The Yuanting comes with holes already drilled and tapped for mounting with your car's existing radio brackets. I found that none of these holes let me get a flush install. I will have to go back and drill and tap new holes to get it right (it is currently protruding 1 inch out of the radio deck)- I purchased a double din facia plate (specific to this model of Corolla) to make this install look more professional. It would look great when I can fit the carplay unit in at the right depth.- I could not get the backup camera to work when spliced to the "reverse" wire. I am going to splice this to the backup light to see if it works. A bit disappointed here.- I estimated the install time to only take 30-45 minutes for just the radio (since I already had the wiring harnesses spliced up and ready to go). It ended up taking 1.5 hours to install. This includes all the iterations of trying to mount the radio with the existing holes that are not spaced appropriately for the Corolla.Here are some thoughts on using the carplay unit:- The color and hue looks weird. You can only adjust it roughly in the settings. It is either too pink, too purple, or overexposed. I'll have to spend some time playing the the combination of settings. As it is now, the display image is pretty disappointing.- The carplay unit is decently responsive. It takes about ~5 seconds to be functional after turning on the car. It takes ~3 seconds for it to recognize and display your phone once you plug it in. It definitely isn't as fast as my Apple Carplay unit that came factory installed in my 2019, but it is still a pretty good upgrade.- The touchscreen responsiveness is not bad. It doesn't register accurately sometimes, but I get that same issue on factory installed Carplay units as well.

The media could not be loaded.  I was pretty impressed with this radio. Install process and manual were spot on. Tried to upload a video but with recording on my phone while it was on Android auto was a bit awkward. Setup for radio was a breeze though. Android auto works flawlessly. Radio has great reception as well. Plenty of features. Even has the option to use your car logo as a boot up screen. I was able to put the hyundai logo on it and basically make it look like an oem head unit. 10 stars if I could. Would purchase again no doubt. If you are looking at buying go ahead you will not be disappointed.

This radio is a 50/50 on whether carplay will work. It is in my work van and i need the navigation via carplay. Going to have to buy a different radio due to not being able to rely on this one. Very disappointed!

I love how everything was neatly packed and labeled. The touch screen is very responsive and doesn’t require much pressure. I loved the sound quality. It sounded like I was in the studio. It’s definitely worth more than I paid for it especially with the camera feature. Would definitely recommend this to friends.

Pleasantly surprised how good it is for less than $100 I wasn’t expecting it to be this good. Screen is nice quality, sound is good and it’s not laggy. Only thing is I cannot figure out how to get the steering wheel controls to work with my 2006 bmw 325i but that is a minor issue. Overall impressed and would buy it again.

It kind of works, but it turns itself off and on every once in a while sometimes the Bluetooth didn’t work

this is a one din car stereo with 6.2 inches (1024 x 600) touch screen, it supports apple carplay and android auto for both wired and wireless connectionthe 6.2 touch screen is not removable, view angle cannot be adjusted, so this car stereo should be placed at topmost din slot to avoid blocking other chassis device; it should also be aware that above the topmost din slot maybe air vent or control buttons for some vehicle, make sure this stereo not obstruct anything before installationit has all typical feature on a 6.2 inches touch screen when connect to mobile for with carplay or android auto; it can also do mirror link to screen cast mobile phone screen to the car stereo for entertainmenton its own there are built in fm radio, external rear view camera, usb media player, also a hands free device for voice callappreciated that it has physical knobs for volume control and song navigation, much user friendly when drivingthe main unit has a small form factor, plenty of room at the back for cable runningeasy and good value car stereo upgrade for older car model that doesn’t come with touch screen or carplay stereoi’m happy with this product, would recommend

This is great upgrade car stereo for older cars with 6.2 inch touch screen , where there you can connect camera for the car , can connect the mobile with the Bluetooth and wired android auto & apple car play easy to connect the smartphone and simply navigate on the maps, great option to use the voice control , it does allows to make calls with voice control and navigation and play music at the same time can drive with free hands on the wheel for a safe drive, this stereo it comes with the instructions to install but I find it difficult myself so i had to go the garage and fix it on my car , just to mention the reversing camera is included on the box .

The kit comes with fitting harness and instructions. However, don't be fooled into thinking this is a ten minute job to fit. IF you have an existing radio, that obviously needs removing and then you have the fun of figuring out all the wiring associated with the new setup.The main unit consists of the screen, controls and the main guts of the device that sticks out of the back. This is what fits into the single din space where my old radio comes out. I was fitting this unit in my Nissan Terrano and I had plenty of space for the screen to fit in, however, you do need to use this ONLY if you have space above your old radio position, that the screen won't block air vents, or controls.There are some good features in this device, and a few annoying issues, such as the inability to tilt the screen if your radio slot is not angled ideally. This is a pretty predictable issue and it's really worth checking a few fitting requirements before getting this type of upgrade.The radio is good quality and the unit also has inputs for DAB, MP3 and other AUX devices, such as a CD changer etc. Sound quality is so so, and of course will not equal a high power in ICE installation. Another negative I found is that the screen definition seems to be below what I would have expected for 1024*600 pixel HD unit. Good colours, but some pixelation.Having the android features is of course an amazing upgrade to car navigation and entertainment. PLUS, that rearview camera is a great extra that really adds a degree of safety to the driving experience. Definitely worth buying IF it will fit in to your car dash design, and that's the biggest downfall for some cars.

Make sure you do measurements before getting this device. Its a single din. So far so good! Really clear and responsive screen, has plenty of features and wireless carplay is the best thing!! Looks great in the car too. Very pleased

This is a full kit for changing out the radio on older cars and updating with Apple/android play.The system set up is easy to setup but the install was very tricky - and a lot of faff if you don’t know what you’re doing. The box comes with a reverse camera which was a nice little addition.Once in the dash, the screen is fixed and you cannot angle the screen at all. The functions are good and the screen quality is good, sound is decent also.All in all u think this is a good upgrade to anyone wanting the function of a screen instead of the basic radio functions.
