Worth every penny you pay for it for every pound that you WILL loose!
Well written. I've been doing the green juice for a 3 months as one meal a day. My hour drive to work I no longer yawn and feel energized. I've lost 46 lbs so far in 3 months just by increasing my veggie fruit intake and lowering my carb intake. Major difference in energy. The biggest thing is I don't feel deprived. I have salad, meat protein, bread, potato...but more juicing has made a significant change in what I do. I love the recipe to take the juice pulp left over and make a veggie broth. Little bit of seasoning and instead of a hot tea in the evening a hot cup of juice. Yummy!!!! I'm going to try more of his recipes. Watch his movies "FAT, SICK, NEARLY DEAD" both of them. Worth every dime or I should say POUND lost!!!! Awesome Joe, just Awesome... Due to a back injury doing P90 I've had to lay off exercises but now that the pounds are coming off my back is feeling better and better. If you are over weight loose weight by juicing, then slowly get back to exercising....It WORKS!

Love the recipes
Love the recipes. It has helped me a lot. Knew at this jucing thing n love it. Watched Joe Cross movie and it made me get off my butt and start doing something about my health. I'm 61 had a heart attack at 55 year later had a critical lung infection that left permanent damage. I was so tired of taking meds so I stopped! I felt like the walking dead! This was my decision because it didn't make since to take drugs that was hurting my organs so I just stopped. I fell better now then I have in so many years. I have pretty much given up meats eggs once in awhile cheese and absolutely nothing that is pre-made. Fruits n veggies nuts beans. I love my sweets so now in the evenings I will have a sliced apple with organic peanut butter or a orange or what ever kind of fruit that hits my fancy. Love it! Never eat that to close to bed time, you won't sleep well. Lesson I learned the hard way. Lol. The recipes gave me a start, then it just came to me with making your own. This is another thing I have taken control of in my life. This book help me get control over my eating habits. One up for me!

Very helpful for newbies
Well didn't watch his documentary till after I ordered this book an a juicer. But man the recipes are truly helpful for beginners gives you a bit of help knowing what an how much to buy. Not to mention there's helpful notes on what each juice can help you with like me migraines is an issue so I could seek out ones that can have benefits to help with migraines or other health concerns. That was really great, oh also has help with prep like do you peel that veggie first or not and has a reference for substitutes if you dont have something on hand. Helps with time frames for your juice if you wanna make ahead for the week what's the best container for your juice and obviously if you want help with doing his reboot that's in there obviously. Oh yes one other thing also has recipes for the pulp so It doesn't all go to waste and even has smoothies. For me this was ridiculously helpful in organizing a list for the store an how much it was going to make.

A wide variety of healthy recipes for juicing, a fast way to lose weight.
I used the recipes in this book for a 15 day juice fast and then a couple months later for a 7 day juice fast. I felt tired in the evening of the 2nd and 3rd day, after which I felt fine. I am a middle aged woman and for me it is not easy to loose weight. I had the energy to keep up my daily walking routine of 30 minutes to an hour (not race walking, but more than a strolling pace). On the 15 day fast I lost 12 pounds (kept off 10) and on the 7 day fast I lost 5 pounds (kept off 4). A few days after the 15 day fast, after I went back on a whole food, plant-based diet, I had my annual physical: my cholesterol was the lowest it has been in 10 years and all my other numbers were good too. I also bought my juicer through Joe's web site with an Amazon deal. I am very pleased with the results, although I will say that by day 14, I really wanted to eat the celery and other veggies I was juicing with, I was jonesing to chew something! I also drank coconut water during my fasts, which Joe recommends.

The hardest first 3 days of my life & then I felt great.
The hardest thing I have done for myself in a very long time, but worth the effort and commitment. I eased into the diet and have been sticking to Joe's philosophy for about 6 weeks. I have lost 10 lbs just with the diet change and not yet increasing exercise. My next goal is to increase exercise and see what happens. I won't minimize the commitment in time for shopping & food prep. It is a lifestyle change. You will know if you are ready for it after the first 3 days, which were tough. I truly thought I had the flu the first two days! I even made an appointment with my Doctor, who was happy with my choice. He assured me I didn't have the flu and it would pass, which it did. It gets easier each day. I have supplemented with juice purchased from a recommended company to help me say on track, which has been a great decision for me. I feel better than I have in years. The recipes are easy to follow & so far delicious. There have been a few juice combos that I didn't care for, so I just don't make those.

Best Juicing Guide
A clear and simple guide to juicing for your health. Recipes are tasty. Joe Cross lives this life and credits it with saving his life. Just be sure you have a heavy duty juicer. We returned two before buying the one he recommends.

why not just eat the produce or at least make smoothies
wasting all the food left after juicing just doesnt make sense to me. you also wouldnt need 2 apples for one meal, 1/2 would prob do. salads would be good or crudites to stay raw.becuz im prediabetic, fiber, fat n protein is very important to me. i would need to use very little fruit n keep fiber in the food i eat. i would also to add fat to kill my cravings, trust me on this, ive done similar things. protein as raw eggs or raw yogurt and kefir would also keep me from getting lightheaded. i would put them in my smoothies to keep my eating-food all veggies that i crunched.im amazed that phil n joe had no bld sugar issues. im nowhere near as big and have problems wen i try fasting. or very light eating as these two did.bravo joe n phil ... u guys rock!
