Chunky and surprisingly tasty gummies
These are bold and brassy large gummies with a lot of punchy flavour. Unlike some gummies, these are ones you can happily suck for a while rather than chew, and they’ve got a really appealing flavour that means you’d want to do that too. The initial kick of flavour is a red fruit cocktail (somewhere between strawberry and blackcurrant) but there’s a tartness, like apple, underneath it that really distinguishes it from average sweets. The gummies themselves are large, and strangely shaped like foam ear protectors. Sucking one for a while feels oddly substantial, almost like a snack in its own right, and certainly a substitute for munching a couple of regular sweets. One of the main ingredients in these is sorbitol, which normally I’m not a fan of for two reasons- firstly it can taste horrible and secondly it can have a digestive, well, let’s call it a “digestive effect”. With these, though, neither of those end up being a problem. They taste like they have a glucose-like form of real sugar in them even though they don’t, and the digestive effect is yet to be forthcoming shall we say.The point of these gummies is the culture complex it carries, rather than being a regular multivitamin tablet, and as such the packaging avoids putting details like NRV’s on. It doesn’t score highly in terms of content as a multivitamin, but that’s not really what this particular type are for. These are the second type of Science In Sport gummies I’ve tried. If I remember rightly I gave the previous set (apple flavour multivitamins) five stars but I think these ones are even better.

Huge jar, great quality.
I am a fan of the Science in Sport range; they really do know their stuff. These Pro Bio+ Gummies are not only great for your digestive health, but they are also super tasty too. They come in a hygienically sealed tub of 60 gummies that give you a 30-day supply. The gummies are not sticky, and they are substantially nicer than other good for you gummies, they taste amazing, a lovely berry flavour, not overly sweet like some. I’m on a diet and these are a treat to me as I don’t eat sweets. They are low in calories so won’t affect my weight loss. They contain an impressive 1 billion gut friendly cultures; much higher than the capsules I had been taking. They also contain acai berry juice, glutamine and inulin, a really good combination to help my digestive system be much more efficient and in turn helping me with my health and diet. These are a little more expensive than the capsules I was taking but so much more effective, they stop bloating and help with regularity. Very impressed.

Probiotic gummies from Science in Sport. Berry flavour. 60 gummies, 30 days supply.
My partner tested this item. This is his review. These gummies are good for anyone who struggles to take tablets or has any difficulty with swallowing tablets.I have had products from Science in Sport before, this is the first probiotic product I have tested from them. With there being so many random unheard-of companies and brands selling probiotics, it is refreshing to see a well known and trustworthy brand such as Science in Sport selling probiotic supplements, especially in this non-tablet form. Science in Sport have been going for as long as I can remember, with their products being sold in a well known high street supplements shop for many years. Their science-lead approach to supplements is welcome. In an age where false information spreads fast, it is good to have such a brand with a well known presence creating new products based on science-lead knowledge. When deciding on which supplements to put into my body, I usually do a degree of my own research before opting for a reliable company to provide those supplements. SIS fits this scenario very appropriately, having their products for me serves as a secondary check to ensure that what I'm putting into my body is safe and tested.Science in Sport's supplements are also accredited by Informed Sport. This is imperative for elite sports athletes who need to ensure that the supplements that they are taking are clean of any banned substances.Probiotic ingredients wise, the daily serving of 2 gummies is stated to consist of a probiotic complex of: Lactobacillus lactis, Lactobacillus plantarum, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium longum. There is 0.25 billion CFU of each these ingredients, totalling 1 billion CFU altogether of probiotics. There is a range of scientific information available around the topic of quantities of probiotics which you can educate yourself about at your leisure.Taste wise, I found that the gummies have a pleasant and sweet taste to them. They kind of taste a little bit like a cherry or strawberry/raspberry fruit sweet. So, I think SIS have hit the mark well here with the description of berry flavour. There is an artificial sweetener present in the form of sucralose.I also offered my partner to try one, but she did not find it pleasant at all. "Artificial, very sour and salty" were her words. Our very small sample size just goes to show that taste is a very subjective thing. There are 60 gummies in the container. At the indicated use of 2 gummies per day, this equates to a 30 day supply. Note that the title of the product listing from Amazon says "30 gummies", which is incorrect. The gummies are suitable for vegans which is great. This is something that food manufacturers can easily do, without the use of gelatine. The use of pectin works wonders. So, it's great to see a brand making an effort in not using animal products unnecessarily. The best before date stamped on the bottom of the tub is October 2022.

Pro bio gummies
A plastic bottle of gummies. Which are sweets that are also designed to be good for you. And are entirely suitable for those of modern sensibilities. You should take two a day. There are sixty in here. The bottle is very squat indeed and wide, which makes for a big lid. It took a little effort to twist this off. The seal underneath did pull away easily though. The gummies are cylindrical with a round top, and slightly bigger than usual ones. The taste I would describe as like vinegar, but they are a decent enough eat while they last.So definitely worth a try.

Awful taste
This is a relatively big jar of 60 gummies which can last for 30 days. I develop a habit of having gummies every day since I have tried a couple of vitamin gummies and they are all nice. But this pro bio gummy is very strange. It is supposed to be berry flavor but I can only taste sour which seems to be made of vinegar! The gummies are not very solid when I received it so maybe they have gone bad. The best before date is October this year though. The taste is so awful that I have to put it away. After all the point of taking gummies instead of powder or capsule is the better taste!
