I bought these for each member of our family. I installed mine first so that I could talk the rest through it. MY EXPERIENCE: I have added numerous pieces of the included padding to the sides and it just does not seem secure. When installed, only a small-based cup can fit in the under part. Then when you pull that cup out, the whole unit comes out...which is problematic when driving. I end up throwing the whole assembly on the floor to keep from having to deal with it while driving. The top part cannot hold things that are very heavy as it actually seems top-heavy and it wants to lean outward...also not good when driving or for a passenger. I find it a good place to put my phone in the top (but I have a wider case so it doesn't slip through the openings) and then can place my keys in the smaller bottom part...but I didn't need a product for those! It's a good concept, but it lacks a bit in execution.

I got this specific to carry my large water bottles that don’t fit in standard car cup holders. I have large 64 oz insulated bottle and a smaller 32oz bottle as well. Take a turn going normal speeds and the bottles come right out. The swivel will also move and not stay in place. It’s not able to support and hold larger bottles when they are filled with liquid. Very very disappointed in this and sad I missed the return date on it. Worst part I gave this as a gift as well. Sorry friend

Great product except a little bulky for when you have a vehicle shifter by cup holders.

I have a newer Mazda Miata that has very little space for things like cup holders, so when I saw this item I had to give it a try. Everything on it works as advertised and it truly gives me more ways to carry drinks in my little car! Some of the stability will depend on how stabile your original cup holder is, so if you have one stable place for your drinks, you can now have two! It's easy to adjust the size of the holder, and you can close in on the cup/can/mug to keep it safe and secure. After I got the first one for my car, my wife wanted two more for HER car!

I thought this would be a great idea for my daughter who travels in her car for work. I tried it myself. I like the adjustable insert, but as you drive it loosens and becomes unstable. I wouldn't trust it to hold my hot coffee for long.

I have a VW beetle convertible that has a very small area for drink cups and such. This cup holder fits perfectly in my small cup holder and stays in place. The expandable area opens up nicely to fit large drink containers. My 32 oz drink jug is kind of heavy and the lock on this does not hold, but it doesn't move around so much that is is a big problem. This is the first add on cup hold that has every fit in my car! I love it!

I absolutely love this product! It was so easy to install. Just spin a dial to expand it to securely fit into your existing cupholder. I love how it added an additional cup holder and one of them adjusts to size. If I’m not using it for a drink it’s great for a cell phone holder!
