Q: Is the 1004mm drop adjustable.

Yes you can shorten the wires before installing the light, you just adjust them. We have ours at different lengths in different rooms.

Q: Can this space age light fitting be turned on and off with a simple lightswitch?

Yes it can but I recommend using the app to change the colours. Also we have a light sensor in the hall way so when we come in from outside it automatically comes on to the colours we’ve set it to

Q: Does it cast much shadow on the table below it? I am thinking of using it above a tabletop gaming/dining table - thanks.

When you say shadow do you mean from people below the light as it’s very bright and casts an equal light over the table. I use mine above a table for sewing and cutting clothing patterns out and it’s very very good
