Living Libations - Organic Poetic Pits Roll-On Deodorant | Natural, Wildcrafted, Vegan Clean Beauty (Classic)

Finally decided to try this and I'm SO glad I did. I have tried numerous brands of natural/chemical free deodorant with no success. Most didn't work at all, and the ones that did would irritate my skin and make it break out in a rash and get super itchy. For some reason lately, I've been getting the "stress sweats." You know, the sweat that really stinks! I've waited a couple weeks to review this just to make sure I wasn't imagining this product to be some kind of miracle, but I am fairly certain it is. The more I sweat while wearing this, the better I smell! The smell is amazing, and it never fades through the day. Plus there are no harmful ingredients and only beneficial ones, so it doesn't matter how much I want to apply. I only apply once in the morning and this lasts me ALL day...and I'm a park ranger, so I get into some pretty sweaty situations while still needing to be decent in the public eye. Now, if you're used to regular deodorant, this won't feel the same. You will still sweat (which is good for you) so you won't feel dry, but you won't stink! I love this product so much and can't wait to try another scent. THANK YOU from me and all of the people around me :)

Poetic pits is absolutely the gold standard in deodorant. It works SOOO well. I justify the outrageous price with the fact that it serves as an intoxicating and sultry perfume that is all natural and doesn’t bother people with asthma or breathing issues. Both me and my husband use it (we experimented with many different scents before selecting our favorites). He loves mine and I love his! It works different with different people’s chemistry so try out smaller sizes until you find your favorite. Also, make sure it dries a bit before putting on tops — since it is an oil it will stain. But once dried I have not had an issue even if I sweat.

(male in 30s here) I loved how it very effectively resolves my body odor pit smell. My BO is rather strong, and this practically eliminates it. I sweat a TON (I do hot yoga regularly and I sweat more than the average person) and this continues to resolve my smell even after a workout/yoga session, perhaps even into the following day. I will say I wasn't super fond of this particular scent -- not terrible by any means, and even got a couple of compliments, but just not a smell I am personally wild about and would want to smell like 24/7 -- so I just need to find the one that I really love. 4 stars for this scent, but 5 stars for the product itself. Going to try the lavender next. Would definitely recommend this product. Just take some time to find the scent that you love the most.No skin irritation, but a pro tip I would recommend is that you apply when your pits are dry to give it time to "soak" in. Otherwise, you're liable to stain your clothes with the oils.

I only use living libations for all my products in my home. I mostly buy from their website and other trusted American vendors as I was afraid of Amazon’s sourcing and quality. I was pleased that it was the exact same product I’ve been using for years, just with much faster shipping. This is a fantastic product and the only natural deodorant that has ever worked for me. Yes, the price point is high for such a small amount, however it’s worth it!

love how this is non-toxic, but did not love the smell. Reminds me of cleaning spray, like Pledge or something

I really love this. I can’t stop sniffing myself lol. It lasts all day and truly does act as a perfume that intensifies when your body heats up. I love the rose scent, tempered by other herbal smells so it’s not overly floral or sweet. Pricy but you truly only need a dot.

Avoid this product— it’s not consistent I used to love Living Libations and especially this deodorant. Sadly, I am so tired of the insane rash breakouts from buying this same scent over the years and nearly half the times the batch is made with far too strong essential oils. I am one of many I have spoken to about the brand’s quality awareness. Essential oils can burn your skin, and I think LL has a responsibility to ensure their concoctions are balanced enough where the essential oil isn’t going to cause harm. Sadly, I wore only this scent for 4 years— sometimes the batch was perfect and I enjoyed the entire bottle, but then other times on repurchase I’d have a very bad reaction. Once, I had to actually get on antibiotics bc the formula led me to have cellulitis (staph) in my underarms. Very painful. Weird to want something natural, yet the product itself has you putting on topical steroids. I’ve also heard other horror stories about LL from friends. I am finally moving on :(
