Works great! Getting the OEM usb hub out is the hardest part, but it is doable! CarPlay connects near instantly when you plug phone in before starting car. I got the firmware from a Mazda forum, and pry tools from Amazon. YouTube for instructions. Fits in 2016 Mazda 3

Great item. Now have carplay in my Miata.

Perfect fit for my Mazda CX5 2017. Was able to safely remove all the necessary body panels to run the wiring thanks to a YouTube. I was so used to having Apple play with my other car and wasn’t going to pay one more time for navigation maps updates. I now have two options Apple Play and Navigation.

Works well for me. Carplay and all previous functions such as Mazda Navigation and reverse camera all work fine. Outer appearance matched OEM hub that was replaced. Install was not too bad. Youtube videos and Mazda USB Cable instructions a big help. Due to price and some reviews, concerned about long term reliability. That said, considering USB cable set and hub costs as much as the OEM USB cable set and cable install is the hardest part of install, figured if it does go bad will replace with OEM hub and still be ahead.

Worked great until it didn’t. I installed it December 2021 including updating the firmware(which I obviously bricked the cpu trying to update it and had to use a breadboard to reset it) it’s worked fine since then except for seemingly randomly not connecting for whatever reason. It seems like when the phone is hot from charging or stuggling for internet connection it disconnects from CarPlay. I can’t find a firm reason but once a month or so it does. When I upgraded my iPhone 11 to a 15 it stopped working. I bought the same company’s usb-c version to install later this week. Install IF YOU HAVE THE FIRMWARE UPDATED!!!!!!! Isn’t very hard. If you have to update the firmware just bring it to the dealership. Bricking your cpu and resetting it is very difficult. Installed on a 2016 Scion ia. Has the same infortainment system as mazda3

De momento va perfecto y siguiendo las instrucciones y un vídeo prácticamente cualquier persona con un poco de ganas puede montarlo.

Installé sur mon CX-5 2016. Fait l'affaire pour Android auto, mais attention le port USB ne fait que de la charge, pas de clé USB qui fonctionne, mais aussi la carte SD du navigateur n'est pas prise en charge donc ne fonctionne pas. Sinon, installation en 15min avec les bons outils et un minimum de savoir-faire. En résumé il n'y a que le port USB du téléphone qui fonctionne. Donc si c'est juste pour Android auto ou carplay c'est ok, sinon même pas la peine de le tester...

Heb deze module vorige week geïnstalleerd, eerst de software update uitgevoerd naar 70.00.100 Europa versie en toen de hardware geplaatst. Alles werkt perfect, door ook nog een CarPlay dongel te plaatsen heb ik nu Appel CarPlay draadloos.

Kesinlikle işe yarıyor, kurulumu da kolay. Mazda için alınması gereken bir ekipman.

En mi opinión, no sirve ni es compatible con mazda 2 y ahí decía que si era.
