Very detailed, great for learning
So my toddler got really into puzzles at about a year and a half old. By the time his second birthday was approaching, smaller puzzles just stopped challenging him. So I got him this three pack for his second birthday. Such a great buy. It took him a week of doing the dinosaur puzzle once or twice a day with assistance before he was ready to do it on his own without help. Then we just let him play with it every day; he'd put it together, point at the dinosaurs, and growl. Then take it apart, put it away, dump the pieces back out again, and start over. But eventually he got so good at it he started to lose interest. So out came the forest puzzle. The forest puzzle was a HUGE hit--animal names were starting to enter his vocabulary at that point and he loved pointing at the animals and having me name them . . . then starting to name them for himself, complete with sound effects! Again, it took a little guidance for the first few times he did the puzzle, but he was starting to really get the hang of how puzzles worked at this point so he really didn't need much assistance--just encouragement because this puzzle is a lot for a 25-month-old. But eventually, he got so confident with it I decided it was time for the sea creatures puzzle. Oh my gosh, the sea creatures puzzle was a hit. He needed help the first time through and after that he was determined to do it himself. He's in love with whales, dolphins, sharks, seahorses, clown fish, basically everything that's in this puzzle. It's so fun to watch him build this little marine world and let his imagination and vocabulary go crazy. Now he has all three puzzles down and loves them all, we're working on color names. So the puzzles sit on a high shelf in his room, but twice a day we get one down for him to play with. He tells us which one he wants, then contentedly throws it together in fifteen minutes or so of concentrated bliss. This three-pack of puzzles has basically been one of the best toy investments we could have asked for! Three months in, the pieces are a little bent and scuffed and the boxes themselves have seen better days, but I imagine these puzzles will continue to feature quite a lot in play times going forward. Update almost two years later: The puzzles are still in use! We put them away for a little while as other puzzles and toys became interesting, but now that our two-year-old is almost four, and he has an almost-two-year-old younger brother, we brought them back out! Our first kid took a little time to relearn them, and now he's teaching his younger brother how to do them. They've been spending a ton of their free time each day at the kitchen table doing puzzles. Super cute.

Great Puzzles...Once You Break Them In.
My 3 year old is experiencing what one might call a paper ripping phase, which unfortunately extends to puzzle pieces. So I needed a puzzle that was interesting to her while standing up to her tantrums. Boy, did this fit the bill. She loves the images and they've survived near daily use from her for several weeks now. That's several weeks more than any other puzzle. But, I hold back from giving that fifth star for a few reasons. First, one of the three puzzles had a few pieces that weren't cut through all the way, forcing me to finish the job with a pocket knife. The puzzle was usable after that. As the other two were fine, this was likely just a QC fluke. Second, it's a REALLY good idea to give these pieces a good wipe down or shake off upon opening. When the pieces separate for the first time, a lot of them had very small slivers that broke loose, which could easily result in splinters. In particular, it may to best to go over the edge of the pieces with a paper towel. Luckily, beyond the initial opening and first try with putting the pieces together, I haven't found any more slivers breaking off. If I did, I would have dropped another star. Third, on the first use or two, many of the pieces are a tight fit and can be very frustrating for a toddler. So parents, it'd be a good idea to assemble each puzzle yourself once or twice first. This'll help loosen up any excess materials that the initial wipe off didn't clear yet. After they've been put together once or twice, the pieces that to fit together MUCH better to the point where my daughter can solo these things. I know some of those issues might seem like deal breakers, but they're not. All of them were only initial problems that were solved with a little breaking in. Since, they've been great. They're sturdy, fun to look at, and great for improving a toddlers ability to manipulate objects with their hands. Oh, and 3 for 20 dollars? C'mon! Just try to find a better deal.

You will only receive 3 puzzles
These are very nice puzzles and my grandkids love them. However, you will only get 3 puzzles with this order. The orange box puzzle is NOT included. The first time I ordered these (awhile ago) they were advertised as a set of 3 and I received the blue, green, and purple puzzles. Later, I decided to order again for a different grandchild. This time, I was pleased to see that a 4th puzzle (orange) was supposedly included in the set. When I received that order, I only got the blue, green, and purple puzzles. I thought they had sent the wrong item so I sent them back and ordered again. I only received the same 3 puzzles in the re-order. SO.... while these are very nice puzzles, they are falsely advertised as a set of 4.

Great procduct! My niece loved creating and enjoyed all the puzzles she made. After making the puzzle, we also played a game of match the object from the puzzle border pictures and found them afterwards. Highly recommend!
