最初はうまくスライス出来ず手こずりましたが、慣れてくると簡単にできました。ちょっとしたおもてなしにも使えるし、子ども達も大喜びで揚げた傍からパクついてあっという間にたいらげてしまえほど。買って良かったです🎵

I love my waffle cutter, I use this to make waffle chips (rotate the potato after each cut) or salad cucumbers. The depth of cut is quite chunky but it needs to be so that you can rotate whatever you're cutting to get those signature waffle cut holes. I've attached a pictures to show you what I managed to do with this cutter with potatoes. Just a word of warning, the potatoes are a bit harder to do and you need to give it a good quick swipe down otherwise it will stick. If it does stick then I hold onto the potato and bang it down holding the potato only. Hope that makes sense!

I've had my waffle cutter for 2 years now, and am happy to report its still working as well as it did on day 1. Still sharp after many dishwasher runs. I use this for 2 main purposes. Firstly for making waffle cut potatoes. Slicing, then turning 90 degrees before the next gives a lovely pattern. All of that extra surface area makes for extra crispy chips when baked (around 25 minutes @ 200C). The mouthfeel from waffle cut is also great. I love a good covering with garlic salt and paprika. I use the spray 1-cal oil to coat them, but sometimes toss in a mix of oil, flavours, and breadcrumbs. The other way I use this is with raw veg for the kids (8&6) packed lunches. Waffle or wave cut carrots never come home, and my girls are always very proud of their snacks. Clearly the novelty goes down well in the high competition world of the playground. I've done carrots, apples, parsnips, and even tried melon (it doesn't work). Cleaning is simple. A quick rinse and dunk, or in the dishwasher. After 2 years mine has no blemishes or stains, and is still slicing and dicing every day. I deliberated about buying the additional guard, but went for it in the end. I can honestly recommend using it, as have got lazy a couple of times and regretted not using it. FH29005 Food Safety Holder (green/black)
