To be fair, for the money its actually solid bed, its design is well done and fixtures and fittings are good but.... First the bed came with a badly damaged box which has resulted in me having to repair one the side panels. Also one of the captive cams had no thread at all so i had to tapp a new thread into it, in order for the bolt to pull tight. As i said its a really solid bed for the money just know that you could have a dodgy fixing somewhere and also make sure you go over the delivery boxes with a magnifying glass. If you have some savi and tools and are used to repairing things and issues shouldn't be a problem.

The design is good, but the pre-assembly isn't good. Things would be great if people had their own tool kit with a drill and extra tools to compensate for holes not drilled properly. But, I wouldn't recommend this product to people without any tools. Why should I have to buy a hammer and a drill because this wasn't pre drilled properly. It's very difficult to get some of the bots in, a lot of force is required using a cloth to turn the very small Alan key. Why not just make the bolts with a normal cross head? It would be so much easier!

Product very good for the price. Would have given 5* but a wrong part was put in. My husband cleverly adapted another piece of wood. As ordered this bed base before new mattress. So had order sometime in advance. When made up. mattress due next day. So no time to send back

Unfortunately the screws are poor quality and the holes not pre drilled, the foot connector was not tapped so the fixing bolt wouldn’t fit, fortunately I had a tap and die set so was able to fit it, there were a couple of screws missing, the central support looks pretty flimsy so I have added a horizontal support to the 4 support legs
