It's a large spoon holder but perfectly made. Looks nice on the counter. Works well catching messing spoons, forks, and other things needing a temporary spot to land.

I would have given it 5 stars , but , as another customer noted , there is a flaw in the paint on the handle . Not a major issue , but , it is noticable . Rather than going through the hassle of returning it , we're going to keep it. Other than the paint flaw , it's a beautiful addition to the kitchen countertop . Heavy-duty and adequately large enough to hold about any spoon , ladle , or whatever kitchen utensil .
