Cleans up solder pads nicely
I had the horrible job of cleaning up some pads on large ceramic capacitors and I could only get so much off with an iron and solder sucker. The solder wick seemed to do its job and was cheaper than a "branded" wick. I haven't noticed any performance difference so a thumbs up from me!

A soldering-station must have
This is a cheap addition, but I find a solder sucker much more helpful than wick. This one works great, its cheap, and is pretty comfortable for long evenings soldering.It also comes with wick, which I don't personally like to use that much, but for the price I can't complain at getting more for nothing.

It works!
I bought some of this from a major high street electronics supplier about 18 years ago and it was rubbish, it simply didnt draw up solder, so I was a bit sceptical. But with a project coming up where a sucker wouldnt suffice I thought I would give this a go. And it is brilliant! It is super speedy at drawing up solder and had the job done in seconds. This could be my go to now instead of my trusty solder sucker.
