this powder hand soap is the best hand soap I've ever used. No scent, not greasy, its gritty texture easily removes grease, oil, paint, glue, dirt, caulking, and whatever else you dirty your hands with, it will remove it. If you want to make your hands soft and gentle, buy something else. If you want to clean your hands and any other filthy body part, then get this. Perfect for mechanics, roofers, gardners, painters, hitmen, carpenters/ contractors, and anyone that works with things that dirty your skin.

I've been cleaning my hands with Boraxo almost my whole life. It takes off grime, paint, tar, grease motor oil and just about everything else. I was running low on it and decided to get another one.. I actually went to six stores looking for it and none of them carried the hand cleaner - only the laundry detergent. I was totally confused that no store carried that terrific product. Up here in Alaska there are lots of dirty hands in the summer. So I tried Amazon and lo and behold they had it. I ordered four containers. Also they shipped it right away and I got it within two days. No wonder Amazon is such a success story.

I've been using Boraxo hand soap for about two years. Its simple formula leaves my hands feeling and smelling clean. Despite being "gritty" the powder is not abrasive at all. My skin isn't dry or oily feeling after use.It is mild enough I can even use it on my face. It just feels clean and comfortable. You can actually work up a pretty good lather if you use enough water. But there is an issue. The new blue, white and orange canister has a rust problem. The metal bottom of the canister leaves rust rings. It hasn't caused a stain, in fact it wipes off pretty easy. But the previous can, I think it was green and red, never had this issue. I can't remember if the bottom was plastic or what but it never left a trace. Now I'm trying to come up with a way to dispense this soap that doesn't require the pricey wall mounted dispenser.

Adhesion as a criterion? Whaaaat? Who wants adhesive hand cleaner? I work with cars and bicycles and have tried many hand cleaners, including petroleum- or orange- based ones. I was pleasantly surprised to find how much better this works to clean the hands, and without excessively drying or leaving an aromatic petroleum smell and coating on the hands. Goodbye to all the others. This has been my go-to for years. I was happy to find this on Amazon after my local hardware store was out of stock. Then I lucked out and found some old dusty cans of this at a local grocery store, cheap, and stocked up there. So for now Amazon won't be selling any to me, but really, I encourage you to give this a try.

i dont know why companys cancel some of the best products ever made but i guess it happens i grew up using this product i love it

Good stuff, cleans major dirt and no odor. The only thing is that the Pumice or Borax or whatever is inside this is large and a not always pleasant to wash with. I wish the granular size were smaller. I like the fact that it is a dry powder and an alternative to GO-jo type products or Lava, all of which have a more powerful smell.

Excellent hand cleaner. I am a professional mechanic and have used this stuff for thirty years. Wife says "Do I smell Boraxo ?" she got to looking around and then remembered we just received the new delivery "Oh the container inside the packaging is all smashed and it is loose in the envelope ." "It is spilling out of the envelope onto the floor !" Order place on the 29th received on the 7th. I ordered a DVD set from another seller the same night, got it . . . .watched episodes from the discs that worked for a two days . . . sent it back because of a bad disc . . and received the replacement by the time this BIC order arrived. BIC waited about four days just to ship the Boraxo out. The DVDs both shipped out the next day after I ordered them. $2.15 for the price of my Boraxo, $7.00 shipping for the least expensive possible delivery to Colorado. Does anyone notice a problem with that metric. I CERTAINLY DO ! ! ! ! If these silly so en so's think I would even consider ordering anything else from this laughable company I can assure them here and now I WILL NOT ORDER ANYTHING ELSE FROM BIC ! lackadaisical shipping response, astronomical shipping charge for a nearly indestructible and not fragile product. And despite all reasonable expectations were able to package my purchase in such a way it was, in-fact, able to be smashed and broken open. It - is - dry - soap - powder . Not fine china. Why is this so hard to accomplish in a responsible manner ? ? ? Remarkable. For this you expect to get more than three times the price of my item ordered just for shipping charges ?
