For Grey Hair for Beard and Moustache - Get Your Original Hair Color Back

I've used this product for years (it was originally called Reparex), and it works great...IF you follow the directions. It's not a dye (you use the same bottle no matter if you're a brunette, redhead, etc.), but it just reverses gray hair temporarily back to your normal color. So if you like your normal, natural color, then this is for you. Your gray hair WILL grow out again (just like it does if you dye your hair), so you do have to keep applying to your roots as needed. After applying, I'd recommend blow drying it and not putting your head anywhere you don't want it to stain (couch, pillow) until the product fully dries. I usually sleep on a dark pillowcase just to be safe, but I've never had a problem. Wait two or three days if possible to wash your hair to allow the product to fully set and penetrate your hair follicles. I notice my hair starting to change colors within 24 hours, but it takes two or three days for it to fully return to the natural color. And, yes, you can wash your hair as normal with normal shampoos. It is a little runny and messy because it has a watery consistency (maybe something a little thicker would create less waste and mess?), but I now use a hair dye bowl and brush to apply it and that has helped tremendously. I'd recommend applying it in old clothes that you don't mind staining and immediately wiping down the floors and countertops as soon as you're done because the product WILL stain after a couple of hours otherwise. But it's not a huge deal at all. This product has been a godsend because I love my natural color and didn't want to dye my hair. It does take a bit of work but no more than dyeing your hair at home. Love it and highly recommend! Wish the price was $20 cheaper like Reparex was.

Maybe I did something wrong but I followed the instructions exactly and it unevenly has started to change colors. But instead of dark brown it is turning orange and some areas of beard no change at all.

I grew my hair out (gray) and decided I didnt like it, but didnt want to dye it again.. I really did get sick of sitting in a chair every 3-4 weeks. So Ive been using this for going on 2 years now. I do love how turns out, it's far more natural than box dye. It does require maintenance that takes about 2 minutes at first every day until you get the results you want and then you can pair it down to a few times a week. Do it after a shower with clean hair as the longer it stays on the better.

I've been using this Boos product since before they rebranded as FGH and called it Reparex. This silver acetate product works better than the dangerous lead acetate products (which turned my hair yellowish). This product brought back my natural color of light red, reminiscent of the color I had as a teenager, not in my 40s. I suspect that the color would be darker red if I had fuller hair, but my thinning hair is definitely red or strawberry blond depending on the light, and deeper red when wet. There is no longer any white or grey. See the photo. It works from the roots on out, which is where the instructions tell you to apply it, so the shorter your hair the faster the results (mine is long). The solution does color the rest of your hair very slightly until washed out, but what grows out influenced by the solution keeps its color permanently.

It started out at $34 per bottle. Since moving to Amazon and changing the name, it’s gone up to $80 per bottle. They’ve added a spritzer and small cotton pads that you can get at the 99 Cent store and raised the price Too Much!! It works pretty well but can leave some pink looking hair near the roots. There is also a greenish tint when your hair is wet. I was mostly ok with that but the price is exorbitant now!

It’s expensive now, that hurts, but I have to say, I’ve been using it since a year and a half and WORKS very good, 90% of my gray hair went back to my hair color, I wish I could show pictures before and after, but I’m shy, and I have only use 2 bottles, becase my problem was only on top of head. I’m gonna have to buy it at this price.

A few years ago my hair was damaged by coloring it. I found out about this product from a friend and have been using it ever since with amazing results! I now have the color I was born with, and it's shiny & healthy. I easily maintain my color by rubbing it my scalp every 7-10 days. I can't believe more people do not know about it!

Me and my wife have used this product for more than 3 years and we are always amazed of the results. Our hairs have a natural look, that of the yesteryears. We look many years younger now. No gray or white hair. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to look naturally younger without white or gray hair and avoid the use of tints with harmful chemicals. Thanks

L’ho comprato con molte riserve, oggi sono passati 7 giorni dal primo utilizzo quotidiano e il risultato è ottimo: porto la barba abbastanza lunga modellata dal Barbiere ogni 2 settimane, da alcuni anni il mio colore naturale (castano con riflessi rossi) ha iniziato a presentare delle zone di barba bianca per l’età (ho 44 anni), in particolare 2 strisce nella zona del mento, per alcuni anni sono ricorso alla tintura presso il mio Barbiere che riusciva a coprire il bianco con una tinta chimica ottenendo un risultato abbastanza naturale ma richiedeva una applicazione ogni 2 settimane. Dopo 1 settimana dall’utilizzo di questo prodotto ho recuperato completamente il mio colore naturale di alcuni anni fa! Il risultato è ottimo, totalmente naturale. Il prodotto è facile da applicare e non irrita minimamente la mia pelle sensibile (alcune tinture nel passato mi avevano dato problemi alla pelle). Se il risultato si mantiene nel tempo credo che diventerò il miglior Cliente di questa Società!

After a full bottle application my gray hair is still there. Some faded slightly on top of my head, but the sides are just as visible as before. I can't say it’s worth the effort, even if it was free, let alone having to pay for it. The only thing that darkened was the application glove. Don’t waste your money, dye is much more efficient and fast. (Pics at 2 week intervals)

17 days in. Applied exactly as instructions describe. It has done absolutely nothing. I even pulled a few white hairs to see if there's any darkening at the roots - nope. Update: 6 weeks in and there is absolutely no effect at all.

Ich war skeptisch, aber trotzdem gekauft. Jetzt kann ich nur empfehlen graue Haare sind schon weg.

After 21 days, parts of the grey hair start to turn brown until all the hair gets brown and it gets darker with time - I could not believe that the product works until I saw it - highly recommended
